Fantastic RAM and a good price. The only negative thing that I can say about this product is that I was not informed that my Windows 7 Home Premium OS would NOT SUPPORT 32GB RAM!! You must upgrade to Win 7 Pro or Ultimate to utilize more than 16GB. It was worth it, and I would highly recommend this RAM.

After many weeks of trying to get my computer to recognize the full 64GB of ram. A real nightmare the motherboard would not allow anything above 36GB even though Crucial Memory is recognized as being compatible by there memory advisor. I played with the timing, the voltage, etc. Tech support finally gave up at Crucial and refunded me my money. AZUZ also was stumped. Bottom-line if you have ASUS Sabertooth X79 motherboard you better be using Corsair to get the maximum memory usage. No monkey business - just install it and it works.

In preparing to build on an Asus P9X79 Deluxe motherboard, I read a lot of horror stories...I read a couple good ones though, enough that I bought the board I really wanted. Assembly went perfectly fine, no problems posting in the end. I bought two sets of this Corsair ram, based mostly on the 5-star reviews. Make mine 5-star too, 64gb memory, working great!

Maxed out my motherboard with this. Glad to have 32GB of RAM, as I run lots of VMs while working. I bought these of Amazon Warehouse Deals, so one of the sticks was bad. RMA'd it directly to the manufacturer, and they sent out a full new set of four sticks. After that, no more issues.

Corsair makes a great product every time when it comes to ram, and the dominator series is no exception. To me it's perfect. It lasts practically forever, it feels solid in your hands, and it looks clean. Most importantly it's fast!

I bought this Kit for a pair of PC that i have with plenty of devices, but testing them just in one PC, surprise instead of Windows x64 memory handling, this kit barely flyes!! My work PC is so fast now that i'm thinking to buy another one for my second PC! Cons: In overclocking they are very hot, thinking to buy Corsair AirFlow Memory fans to both kits!!

100% Recommended!!

I hope I can afford a second set sometime for 64GB for a larger RAM drive.

The RAM works great. Simple and easy to use by just loading the XMP in BIOS on my ASUS P9X79 WS motherboard with my i7-3930K CPU. I'm getting around 34 to 35 GB/s in the Windows 7 Command Prompt memory test (just type "winsat mem" without the quotes, or "winsat formal" if you want the whole computer benchmark test to run) with default setting speeds (no overclocking) but with XMP loaded.

My only complaint is that they're making DIMMs too large these days with their heat sinks, so it can be difficult to make them fit with the CPU heat sink. Fortunately at least the top fins on this set are removable. I haven't needed to remove them, but if I get another set, I will.

Overall, highly recommended.

Update: February 16, 2013

I picked up a second set of this RAM from here and installed it on the same computer for a total of 64GB. RAM speed test results have increased just slightly with the additional RAM. Nothing you'd be able to notice using the computer though.

After all the horror stories I've heard of people not getting this many DIMMs and amount of RAM to play well together, especially from two different sets, this RAM was disappointingly easy to install. All I had to do was put it in. XMP was already loaded in the BIOS from the first set, so I didn't even need to go into the BIOS (even though I did just to poke around a bit).

I was also able to leave the fin heat sinks on the top of the DIMMs. It was close, but they fit alongside the bottom edges of the fans which are on the sides of my CPU heat sink.

So far, I'm still more than satisfied with this RAM, even using two sets of it together, one on each group of quad channels.

Corsair makes great products. I have built systems with their cases, power supplies and many other things. This specific product is awesome because of its great price ($270 for 32GB is really hard to beat). The speed may seem slow (1600 MHz) but that means you can pair it with a slightly older motherboard and newer CPU and still build a kick-ass system from this.
