I bought 2 of these sets to go in my asus rampage 3 formula to replace my 6GB of Adata Plus v2.0 which looked amazing, but wouldnt overclock to the xmp without causing rare crashes.
At first i just poked all 6 dominator modules in assuming they are all identical. the system ran fine but when overclocked to their XMP profile some of the memory wasnt getting detected. i then took them out and read the serial numbers on the modules and each set had a different one so i then correctly placed them so 1 set in red channel and the other set in the black channel. they now run on XMP profile perfectly and all memory is detected.
this explains why my adata modules didnnt work.. they were 3 modules from two separate dual channel packs. they didnt do triple channel of them and they are so amazing i had to have them. but this must have been why they diddnt work properly! That will teach me to listen to fools who think they know everything on the internet!
But i am very happy with these modules and my new memory, 6GB was not enough on win7 64bit when running high demand games, music, etc.. occasionally my windows automatically switched to original colour scheme because it said there wasnt enough memory, that was annoying.. so now that is definately no longer a problem with 24GB!

Performance:
Running perfect at XMP profile and computer is swift as can be. very good ram
Gets 7.8 in windows experience index on XMP profile.

Aesthetics:
very nice looking and feel weighty and high quality, having all 6 modules in you notice the red heat-sinks are slightly off from one another, only minor but for a perfectionist like me im like damn why cant they be straight!
another annoyance in the looks is in the picture you see the nice dominator GT sticker.

Works Great on my Evga X58 Classified 3 board.Core i7.To get 2000MHz you have to set the voltage to 1.65 in your bios.My Memory sub score in windows 7 went up to 7.8! WOW!! I notice my load times our faster in windows and my pc games.Another great product by Corsair.

Great memory for the price. Performs as expected. Gives me enough memory in my computer so that I don't get out of memory messages any more. I am now ableto do all the multitasking that I want to do.

Great ram for a great price. Corsair has never given me a problem. I don't use the cooler that it comes with but I have in the past for the other ram from them and it works fine snaps on without and problems and the cord has a nice brade. The sticks never got hot not even close. Maybe when I start to overclock them but really not needed until that point.

I drive my memory pretty hard, and still this is the first time I've ever said this: The out-of-box cooling is more than you need.

Im currently running an i7-930 on a gigabyte x58a-ud3r board that supports up to 2200 oc ram. I had OCZ gold 6 gig 2000 mhz set, and 2nd set just started messing up, and their customer service is horrible, 3 months to finally get half my money back on a lifetime item. I didnt even try on the last set. Now I could OC the ocz to 1980 with no issues, but once upgraded to 12 gig, best I can get stable is around 1716. I contacted Corsair, who didnt go any further than to look at voltage, and timings. They then just said its motherboard; so no true support to get this going. Contacted gigabyte who tried to help a little, but even though they sell the boards stating they can handle up to 2200 mhz, does not support any ocing at all. They went as far as they could with no better results. Im telling ya anything higher and the computer would not even start, had to reset bios every time setting didnt work. From hours of research, Im confident from that and what corsair stated was required, that 1; voltage is to be 1.65 which is normal, and 2; memory controller voltage needs to be 1.35 min., should not go over 1.45 max; you have to tweak to you get it to run right. My board seems to go redline at 1.34 and even running mildly over at 1.38 I still couldnt get a boot. I didnt want to push any harder since gigabyte knows I was trying to OC, and if I push higher and it fries Im sure they will use it to get out of warranty. So currently Im running standard 1.26 memory controller, with 1.65 voltage, 9/10/9 27. When i call gigabyte and even though I gave them the part number they had a different set of numbers showing up, so make sure you just go by whats on the sticks, its clearly labeled for timings.
Ill add this, it is well known that it is much harder to get 12 gig to run stable than 6 gig etc.

Working, but only 16 gig of 24 installed is available. haven't had time to troubleshoot. Bit together with high memory capacity in my new titan video cards my memory is never burdened now.
