High performance, high capacity, and high style
Flash Voyager GS is a large-capacity, high performance USB 3.0 flash drive in a sleek, stylish enclosure. It takes full advantage of the high-speed USB 3.0 interface, and provides full USB 2.0 backward compatibility for older systems. And, the zinc alloy body with aluminum accents makes it a USB drive you’ll want to show off.
Tuned for performance
With a read speed of 295MB/s and write speeds of 170MB/s for the 64GB model and up to 290MB/s for higher capacity models, you’ll make quick work of even the largest files.
USB 3.0 speed and USB 2.0 compatibility
PCs and notebooks with USB 3.0 ports offer transfer speed that’s dramatically faster than USB 2.0, but not everybody’s there yet. Flash Voyager GS takes advantage of the faster USB 3.0 interface, while providing full USB 2.0 support.
Premium performance meets premium design
Your files are protected by a sleek zinc alloy housing with aluminum accents. It’s a USB drive that you can show off as a fashion accessory. The integrated loop attaches to most key rings, so it’s easy to take with you.

This this is very stout and large. Heavy metal construction. Unfortunately the cap does not fit over the end so you might lose it if you're not careful. But it's rubberized in the inside of the cap so it grips the USB connector, so I think it's very unlikely that it'll fall off. For me, I put the cap in a drawer and I have this connected to the USB stick 100% of the time: StarTech.com 6-Inch USB 3.0 Extension Adapter USB 3.0 Port Saver Cable, Black (USB3EXT6INBK). No need for a cap!
Definitely recommended. I've outgrown a very trusty Patriot 128 GB Magnum (which is why I bought Patriot first) so this was the next step up.
Right now I'm copying files from that Patriot at about 5 MB/s, and from my home server at 55 MB/s (over a 10/100 network) for a combined 60 MB/s as an unofficial test. I don't care as much about speed as I do about capacity anyway, but perhaps that info will help make a decision.
Sturdy drive, feels very solid.
I have been looking for a while for a high capacity (256GB+) USB drive with good performance, I haven't found that unicorn yet.
This drive has an average 197 MB/s read speed, and a 20 MB/s write speed after writing 350GB to it, on Linux (Kernel 4.6.2) on properly supported USB 3.0 ports (XHCI driver on AMD, Intel and ASMedia chipsets). I was really expecting something around 80 MB/s write speed at least, from the price and advertising/claims from the manufacturer.
Turns out, it is very slow for writes, but! Compared to other drives, it is actually acceptable. Still, no match for a DIY USB drive made from an M.2 SSD and USB 3.0 adapter. Very disappointed that USB drives are getting left behind (Some are now powered by an SSD controller, including from Corsair). I'm even thinking on getting a high capacity/speed SD card with an USB 3.0 reader at this point.
I will keep the drive as it is compact, doesn't require other cables (However it blocks other nearby ports due to its width), and sturdiness of the case.
Cons - black paint finish rubs off and will look really scroungy after a few months of being in pocket.
Other than the paint, this is a great choice. I ended up sanding off the finish with a dremel and it has a nice aluminum body.
