From the manufacturer
Low-friction, high-performance mouse mat optimized for gaming sensors.
The surface of the MM400 is made of a high-quality, long-lifespan polymer. It’s tuned to deliver outstanding glide characteristics without sacrificing control, allowing for both consistent snap targeting and pixel-precise shots. The tuned microtexture surface is optimized for gaming sensors, so you get a better glide feel without sacrificing control or accuracy.
The CGMM400 is stable and secure. You can’t afford to have your mouse surface move in the middle of a firefight, so we added a no-slip base that provides cushion with just the right amount of give. And it’s made of natural rubber, so it doesn’t have a harsh chemical odor.
- Size: 310mm x 235mm x 2mm
The Corsair Gaming MM400 high-speed gaming mouse mat provides fast, accurate mouse tracking for serious gaming. The rigid polymer micro texture surface is optimized for gaming sensors and helps ensure consistent and precise tracking. The non-slip natural rubber base keeps it securely in place during the most intense gaming sessions.

Looks really great with the Corsair Scimitar gaming mouse, I highly recommend it!
I have used several hard mousing pads over the years, and so far this one is up there with the best of 'em. The only reason I have to get new ones is that over time, the surface wears down and begins to get smooth. I prefer the slightly rough ones as I find it takes less force to move the mouse around. The smoother the mat, the more surface area I have to push the mouse over. It may not seem like much, but when you use your mouse for a few hours a day, it does make a difference.
I really like this mouse pad so far, its the right texture, and I like the rubberized bottom, it really helps the pad stay where I put it. I use a Logitech Revolution mouse with this and I have no problem making precise movements. It isn't better or worse than the other hard mats I've used, but I do like the size, and the fact that it's a simple rectangle. I've used some that have cutouts, or curved and such, and I much prefer the simple rectangle. It fits well on my desk, and stays where I put it.
Now I'll see how well it holds up over time, and long it takes to get smooth. I don't really care for the yellow stripe or white logo, but that's just personal preference and has no effect on the usability.
Perfect amount of give for those picking up a dedicated mouse pad for the first time (always got by without one).
Kinda big, but for something this lovable I made room.
It's soft and I have zero tracking issues.
It's big too, which is great.
Optical or Laser, it doesn't matter, it tracks both, EXTREMELY accurately. I haven't noticed any issues.
It's non-slip and STAYS in place.
I'm not sure how to clean it, though...
