Don’t pause for sound. See it with InfoMic and CUE Control.
InfoMic brings critical information to the end of your microphone, enabling an instant 'heads up' for everything you need to know about in-game audio: EQ settings, Dolby, microphone mute status, and battery life – all visually communicated via the LED indicators next to the microphone.
CUE Control enables rapid re-spec of your audio settings on the fly. The digital dial and push button combo allows quick volume changes and EQ preset swaps, and toggles Dolby 7.1 on or off, all with a single control.
Your ears aren’t round, so why buy a headset with round earcups? Our 'True Form' shape fits your ears like a glove for your ears. And when it’s time to embark on marathon gaming sessions, the microfiber-wrapped memory foam ear pads enable extended play.
RGB Lighting under your command with CUE software
Express yourself with 16.8 million color options to match your gear and your individual style. LEDs in each ear cup have fully adjustable power, pattern and color to provide anything from subtle and restrained, to eye-grabbing intensity.
The CUE (Corsair Utility Engine) enables all this, and more. And with CUE Link, your Corsair RGB gaming gear can all work in harmony, whether it’s simply synchronizing your colors, or selecting wave and ripple effects that extend across your keyboard, mouse, and headset.
Convenient USB interface
You'll be ready to go with easy one-cable connection.
With Discord certification, you can play with the confidence that your VOID headset’s microphone and audio have been tested and evaluated to the highest of standards, ensuring clear communication and great sound – no matter the game you play.

It's also got a great sounding mic and of course the niceties of the on headset mic mute with LED making it very apparent that I'm muted to both my girlfriend and of course myself.
The software itself is very minimal and doesn't have a huge impact and your machine. This is a pro to me because I want my headset's software to be a tool, something in the back ground that I can tweak if desired but not a focus of my intention.
The Headset is extremely comfortable, I can wear it for hours and not have the classic over ear pain other headsets give me.
The mic is clear and precise, no frills here just a good mic.
LED on the mic tip indicating your muted is bright if you set it to be which makes it great for indicating to both yourself and others around you that you're muted.
The sound quality when using them in normal stereo is fairly good as far as a gaming headset goes. Nothing to write home about and won't stand up to a nice set of pro-sumer or audiophile headsets but for this purpose of blowing stuff up they're sufficient.
Biggest Pro: They won't break in that same annoying spot that almost every headset ever tends to break.
I don't know if you're anything like me but you've probably noticed that at least one headset in your life be it yours or a friends has broken in the same exact spot; right before the earcup, where the headband turns into the speakers (pic attached for detail.
I got to a point where i googled images of X headset model I was shopping for plus the words broken and look to see if there were many pictures of it broken in that same way.
You'll find almost none of the Corsair VOID pair broken in this way and for good reason, that part of them where the speakers join with the head band are a very thick metal, and sturdy as hell.
The 7.1 sounds awful, it basically adds a bunch of reverb to simulate surround. It's light years behind what Logitech can do as far as 7.1 goes.
The LED can not be set to stay on permanently. This was slightly annoying until I realize that you can adjust the "pulse" to be so quick and the intensity of the light to be so high that you can barely see it fade in and out.
The frequency response of the drivers seem to be off a bit. Almost muddy.
You can fix with a bit of EQ pulling out some mid range gunk but it should be noted.
There is however no lack of bass, particularly with the bass boost.
That's about it, imo the pros by far outweigh the cons, and if you can find this headset on a deal it's a no brainer, at regular price shop around a little and just think about what you're looking for in a headset.
If you want comfort, and sturdiness the most, this is your guy.
These things are the most comfortable muffs I have ever used, I used them for a 10 hour gaming sesh and no headache or sore ears!
And these are quality! They have heavy-duty solid metal swivels from the hoop to the muffs so they won;t break over time. I even sat on them a few times and they are fine.
The lighting is really cool and the volume control is convenient.
And the sound! The sound is amazing! 3d dolby heck yeah!!! I play a lot of Dayz and can tell exactly where a gunshot is coming from and can hear the faintest foot steps, its really improved my gaming skills.
So if you want the best head set for a reasonable price, this it it!
If you found this helpful please up vote, thanks!
Sound is great - I can hear other play locations perfectly in games to give me an advantage knowing where people are making noise. I'm not an audiophile. Using this mainly for gaming and
USB cord and plug is solid
Software - has a nice software application where you can change the colors, equalizers, etc.
Build quality - headset is flimsy and seems like it will easily break. There are areas of construction that seem like they should be covered/closed off but you see the underlying construction.
I have not tested the microphone yet, so I am not sure how it holds up. If I remember, I'll update this with that info when I can.
-Not terribly expensive
-Not too heavy, doesn't cause strain after using for a few hours
-Easily fits my rather large head ( I wear a size 8 baseball hat for reference)
-RGB is sublte and all-black design is much nicer than the yellow variant
-Cloth earcups aren't as nice as some of the mid-grade "leather" ones out there. Kind of scratchy and got uncomfortably warm
-Would prefer 3.5mm cable instead of USB, but that would likely mean no RGB or Dolby support
-A similarly priced dedicated over-ear headphone set by a major audio accessory manufacturer would probably have better sound quality overall- this headset is not for audiophiles
-Software *may* have produced a BSOD shortly after installing. No definitive proof but my PC is 2 weeks old and ran flawlessly until I installed the CUE program
Ultimately, this headset is comfortable but it takes some getting used to. The sound quality is on par with any other headsets I've used and I love the Dolby feature. The headset microphone could be better, but it gets the job done and you shouldn't really expect superior quality voice from a headset mic if you're serious about what you're doing and you're spending less than $300+ on a headset. 😂

Thank god I was using speakers when this happened and not wearing the headset with it plugged in like I often do.Read more
