Fast and straightforward system building, by design
At Corsair, we believe that no matter your budget, building your own PC should be easy, and have great looking results. Choose the Graphite Series 230T, and the only time you’ll need a screwdriver is for attaching the motherboard. Your own custom-built PC will have a look that’s aggressive, yet refined, with up-front USB 3.0 and headset connectors for quick access. Add to that dual front intake LED fans for great cooling potential.
Whether you’re building a gaming PC or just a replacement for a boring office-grade box, you can enjoy the unique pride of ownership that comes from a great-looking system that you’ve built yourself.
Leading-edge styling
Graphite Series cases meet at the intersection of high performance and dramatic design. The front intake fans are bathed in soft LED light, and the sculpted exterior helps you build a fast system that looks fast, too.
Flexible cooling potential
The 230T comes with dual 120mm front intake fans with LED lighting, and a rear 120mm exhaust fan. There’s room to add two 120mm or 140mm fans on the top, and a 120mm or 140mm fan on the bottom.
Easy system builds, maintenance and upgrades
The side panels, PCI-E expansion slots, and drive bays are all tool-free. Cable routing cutouts are provided for clean-looking builds and better airflow, and there’s a CPU cutout to allow for cooling upgrades without removing the motherboard. The intake fan filters help keep dust out of the interior, and they’re easy to remove for cleaning.
Dedicated SSD bays and Seven PCI-E expansion slots
The 230T offers four 2.5” drive bays for solid-state storage. That’s in addition to the four 3.5” bays and three 5.25” optical drive bays.
There’s room for multi-GPU setups for powerful gaming systems. The slots are tool-free, so swaps and upgrades are quicker.

So I needed a mid tower that could hold a longer graphics card, stay cool, and I wanted something besides the typical black box. I did some research and came across the 230t. Seemed to have everything I needed. The smaller form factor but still all the space I needed to get everything in. I recently built a system in it so I figured I would tell people how it was to build a system with this case.
So standoffs were pre-installed for ATX motherboards so that is a huge plus for me. I am an outside builder so I had it all running and just dropped it in with no problem.
Next I seated the power supply. Had a bit of an issue there but the space for it is just very snug so I actually appreciate that. Lots of holes through to the back of the case for cable management with sensable tie down points for your zip ties or whatever you want to use. The only thing I need is for the holes to have some sort of grommet around them. They did roll the edges so they aren't sharp but it does make it look better with the grommets than an empty hole. I should mention a huge plus for this case is that all of the edges are rolled steel so no cuts on this case.
Next I installed my drives. 2 2TB mechanical drives and 1 256gb ssd. I love tool less drive bays but I did have an issue here. So the 3.5in drives slide in with their power and data ports towards the opposite side panel so it is easy to access them. The ssds pop into a slot on top of the drive cage that points their ports towards the back of the case making it extremely difficult to connect SATA power and data when you've got a longer graphics card like I've got. I ended up putting my SSD on a sled and using one of the 3.5in bays for convenience. Just seemed like an odd chioice
The included case fans are decent and quiet enough. I included 2 more. One on the CPU cooler, a Hyper 212 Evo, and one on the top. So I've got a pretty good airflow and I ran HeavyLoad for an hour and never got over 100F for my whole build. So it cools pretty well if you set your flow up right.
All in all a really good case. I don't feel like talking a star off for the SSD options but if I could give half stars this would be a 4.5
I bought this case used from an Amazon Warehouse deal so it was obviously a return. It was marked as having damage on the rear panel and damage to the original box. I was a bit wary but had good success from these deals in the past and was very pleased with the condition of the product. The box did have damage but it was just cardboard so I was gonna throw it away anyway. The case its self was immaculate not a single blemish I could see.

What I liked is, lots of fan mounts. 6 to be exact. I installed 2 120mm exhaust fans in the top of the case. But, you can't install a 240mm radiator. Only a 120mm single fan radiator, like the Corsair H80i. I opted for an air cooler. Otherwise, the build went smoothly. Plenty of room behind the motherboard tray for cable management. Even though I have the non-windowed version, if I bought this case again, I wouldn't opt for the windowed version, the window looks way to small.
<update>
I know I have touched on the side panel issue all ready. But, I want to reaffirm the issue. I realize that you don't take them off very often, but when you do, they are a major fight to get them back on. Sometimes it takes 2 or 3 tries to get them to catch properly. My 10 year old OEM case was easier to install than this one. If I had the money, I would dump it and buy the NZXT S340 Elite. If it wasn't for the side panels, this would be a great case.

I bought the orange one, and let me say that it is VERY orange. It's not unattractive, however for people who prefer subtlety in their colouring, this may not be the choice. I used blue cold cathodes to light up the inside, however, and I think it brings the appearance together overall.

Pros:
+Looks really good :)
+Pre-installed fans (two in front, one in back)
+Mounting points to install one fan in base and two in top (or radiator for liquid coolers)
+Hardly any screws or fiddly devices to secure drives, just slot in place and away you go
+Good cable management (slots and cable tie hooks) and rear cut out for CPU cooler backplate access
+Dust filters pre-installed
Cons:
-Reaching motherboard connectors on the top can be a bit fiddly if you have fans or a radiator mounted, you have to keep taking them off.
-Not much else cons at the moment.
A good upgrade if like me you had an old clunky 8 year old case!

pros — it is perfect of a high powered gaming rig, it has got plenty of room for expansion, air flow was excellent my I9 never exceeded 30c tempriture due to it.
con — fitting the motherboard although this is a minor issue the screw mounts don’t fully line up with the screw holes on the mother board making it a chor to fit , The back fan looks cheap so I replaced it with a high quality orange lcd one.
Once assembled booted it up it was job well done and it looks great (check picture)
In summery this case is for those who don’t want to spend a fortune on a bling case or care about bling, but wants a quality case that looks good then check this one out.

I also really like the swastika shape the fans make, it's hilarious.
Case looks great, plenty of room, good on a budget.
