I purchased this in July 2023, just 5 months later the surface of the right mouse button is starting to peel off. I don't play any games with this mouse, I don't even do right click that often, just daily web browsing.
Received the device brand new and still sealed by manufacturer. Issues began when iCUE didn't register the device. Tried to troubleshoot only to discover that the USB Receiver didn't function AT ALL. Then noticed a physical defect where the plastic piece below the left and right mouse buttons was elevated on the left side, preventing you from being able to use left click at all. Had to apply heavy pressure, sometimes jamming the button, to get the plastic piece back in place. Even after that the left click still sometimes won't register. Researched online to learn that multiple users experience the same issues with this mouse. It's either completely perfect and a great device, or it will have ever defect in the book. Proceed with caution on buying.
This mouse seems to appropriately fit my style or grip if you will, even if I angle my hand off to the side, it still feels like I have good control of it. One thing I really like is the soft clicks. The buttons are pretty elongated or so it feels but you can apply pressure practically anywhere on the button and it'll feel like a solid, even click. I think it gives me a wider birth and more margin for error, which I didn't realize before now how much I needed this in my life. I like to click the button as far back as possible which this allows me to do. The scroll wheel is pleasant to the touch, which was a worry of mine since other Corsair mice seem to have a QA issue on that, at least according to reviewers.
I've been using iCue software for the past week or so since I got the Corsair K60 keyboard and so far so good. Pairing the mouse up with the software was plug and play, nothing else required. And yes this mouse will give you the option for 2,000mhz polling rate which was a big selling point of this mouse for me. Right now I'm using it with a USB-C to USB-C wire, as well as the keyboard the same way...and I have them each plugged into a USB-C hub so that there is no conversion from USB-C to USB-A anywhere in the chain. I have them both set to 2,000mhz as well as I felt it was best to have these devices in sync, especially for first person shooters which I have not tested yet. But something tells me this mouse will up my game a bit, particularly with sniping.
The light show is kind of meager to be honest.
The bluetooth has tested well so far too but admittedly I haven't used it long enough to see if it's ever a pain.
And I'm remised to report that the toggle feature between wired, bluetooth and 2.4ghz connections is not that smooth. If you were hoping to easily toggle back and forth between multiple computers like I was hoping to -- you're likely going to end up disappointed, especially if you require toggling back and forth quickly and efficiently. For this alone I have to give the mouse a 4 out of 5. I had to buy the mouse to find out about these things because there's nothing in the marketing about it. I hope this helps people decide a bit because there were no reviews on this product at the time of purchase.
Todo llego bien apesar de haber visto muchas malas recomendaciones. La única queja es el scroll, como que no responde al rotar la rueda, se queda pegado. Ya me acostumbre pero sigue siendo algo incomodo.
It gets a 4/5 stars because when using a receiver with a headset and the mouse connected the mouse lags a little when gaming, the receiver is plugged into a dongle which could be why. Also the slow mode for the rgb color changing is still too fast
update: it stopped working after like a week of using it, I still like the mouse and i hope the second one doesnt break after a week...
(UPDATE) Yeah so, the mouse died in July of 2023. It didn’t last as long as the Katar Pro Wireless, which lasted nearly a whole year. Don’t buy Corsair mice, just go Logitech and get it over with.
I’ve owned quite a bit of mice from Corsair (M65, Harpoon, Katar Pro XT, Katar Pro Wireless) so I know just how bad Corsair mice can be.
The Katar Elite is very light, and has a small solid body that’s perfect for my hand to grip onto. It charges via USB-C, and it has A-RGB which can be controlled via the Corsair iCUE software, along with the usual DPI and polling rate stuff. It has on-board memory so all of your DPI settings, macros, and polling rate adjustments can be saved onto the mouse and transferred over to whatever other device you happen to connect it to. It’s a solid mouse for the price, I’d even go as far as to say that it’s as close you can get to having a Superlight on a budget.
However, a problem with Corsair mice is that they’re always fantastic in the beginning, then the issues show up later on. I don’t put my mice through that much abuse, I play games very casually and don’t slam them around like crazy so I don’t expect my mice to die on me so soon. As stated in the beginning, I’ve gone through a lot of Corsair mice, and a good majority of them have either had failing left-clicks, or just straight up stopped working. In fact, I bought this mouse specifically because my Katar Pro Wireless decided to die on me, despite my efforts to revive it with fresh batteries.
So far, so good. That’s how it usually goes with having Corsair mice, and hopefully this one lasts me a while, but I shall update my review accordingly should it not meet the lifespan I expected. My Katar Pro Wireless lasted 10 months, so if this one outlasts it, then I’ll consider it a great mouse.

It's comfortable and responsive. The battery only lasts one week with extremely light use. If I'm gaming it'll only last three days and I'm using the lightspeed connection. It's very frustrating.
Corsair advertised this as having a 2,000 poling rate. I bought this mouse and it won't go above 1,000 poling rate. They removed the 2,000 poling rate marketing. How shady is that?
