My biggest issue, however, is the power-saving functionality of this mouse. After a short period of time (probably 30 seconds to a minute, I haven't timed it), the mouse enters a deep sleep state that requires 1-2 seconds to wake up from. This results in constant frustration as you constantly have to wait for the mouse to wake up before you can actually use it again. While this may seem minor, the constant sleeps add up and make the simple experience of simply moving your mouse an exercise in frustration.
It's a bit different from my Logitech and VicTsing mice. It doesn't take long to get used to it. After that, it's quite normal to use it.
I can easily switch it to use with my left hand so that my right wrist can rest a little.
It's loud. Or should I say louder than my other mouse. It's also a bit harder to press initially. I get used to it after a while.
The software is extensive. It allows you to set the DPI. You can have different profile and each can have different DPI setting. The DPI button will follow the profile you selected.
You can set polling rate. It's a gaming mouse after all. Higher polling rate, obviously, use more battery but give you better response time when you need it.
You can program the mouse and keyboard using the software if you have one.
I started with a full battery. It ran out in less four weeks.
After about a month, the left click starts developing the in-famous "double click" problem. It starts as an light issue and soon developed into a always double click when I click on it. It drives me crazy at that point and I had to return it.
I don't need my mouse to do a whole lot of hoopla, I just need it to do simple mouse things. I'm moving to this mouse after using a Razer Abyssus for over 7 years straight, mostly because of the price, similar dimensions, and similar weight. Very good drop in replacement, it feels almost exactly the same. I prefer the shape of the abyssus slightly for the palm bump, it's all the way back towards the palm on the Abyssus whereas this mouse has it located near the center. Not a deal-breaker at all, just really the only thing I like less about this mouse vs. the abyssus, and that's just personal taste.
Corsair's iCUE software is very well put together compared to other lighting software I've seen. It was also very easy for me to just set the light to a static color (or off entirely) and leave it, but there are some very programmable options in there if you're into that sort of thing. If you have other Corsair (or possibly other compatible brands?) products with RGB, you should be able to sync it all there.

I also owned the wireless version which is the same shape and similar weight but sensor is a step down like a pmw3325. So it's not bad but ended up returning it. It seems like this mouse was built for fps shooters for a budget while maintaining most of the qualities of a good mouse.
It's connects via Bluetooth or a USB dongle. You have to have iCUE software installed to program and operate the mouse properly. However, iCUE doesn't even see the mouse when it is connected via Bluetooth. It does see the mouse when it's connected via the USB dongle.
The mouse feels nice in my hand and is light weight. The buttons are nice and the wheel is nice. I don't have any issues with the ergonomics of this mouse.
There are no RGB light effects on this mouse.
All in all I DO NOT RECOMMEND this mouse and this is strictly 99% based on how badly it eats batteries and 1% on iCUE not seeing the mouse via Bluetooth.
So, DO NOT BUY THIS MOUSE unless you have a gazillion dollars to spend on batteries every 2 weeks.
