My only criticism, and it's certainly build specific, is that the cables are very long. They're long enough for an extended ATX build, but they are clumsy and too long to a problematic degree in my mITX build. I looked around and asked Corsair, but no shorter cables are available unless you venture into the very expensive niche of custom cables.
Modular cable is easy to manage, and Corsair Link is very cool, that I can monitor how many watts am I using now, check conversion efficiency, or adjust fan RPM.
Since the RM650x does not have this function, and RMi series are comparatively expensive than RMx in Japan, my decision of importing it was right, I'm very satisfied.
Why 4-stars? Those damn cables, they are too thick, they are too rigid, with an ITX build, had to use 2 of the PCI-E cables as it was impossible to bend/attach things with only one cable
Cables are so thick that I was worried they could damage the connections if they flexed, nothing happened tho
Giving the PSU 4-Stars, to nudge Corsair to develop more agile sleeved cables, maybe individually sleeved/exposed cables could be better, these ones are sleeved all together, the sleeving might be teleios but I'm not sure

It talks about in the specs that you can switch from single-rail to multi-rail configuration and after extensive research I can conclude this is literally just marketing BS. It literally changes nothing in terms of performance or efficiency. It might mean something in rare situations but nothing to the average consumer.
Second of all, this PSU deadly silent. Using this in my ESXi rig. No fan activity until the PSU under load. So far, only on boot when multiple VM's spin up. Otherwise, it is passive for the most part.
And, given that I am a skeptical jerk, the good folks @ corsair decided to put a "fan test" button on the PSU. Most builders have had a dead part show up at their door. That little button, along with their excellent labelling (fan will not run unless under load) allowed me to test the PSU was operational prior to installing in the rig.
