These cards work great for gaming and daily PC use. After going through the comments, I was shocked with how many people should not be building systems. I mean all these complaints about the cards being 1333mhz and not 1600mhz. These cards are 1600Mhz cards, but you people need to adjust the DRAM settings in the BIOS! Set the timing to 9-9-9-24, the speed to 1600Mhz, and the voltage to 1.5v and ignore whatever computer program that you are using that is telling you that these are 1333Mhz sticks.

I used this RAM on a build with an AsRock p67p4 Extreme and an ASUS Sabertooth P67 motherboard. On both builds, the RAM worked very well and ran with stability at 1866Mhz with the stock 1.5v. I did not test any higher frequency as the performance gains were minimal(even from 1600 to 1866). This is nice RAM however beware on some motherboards the fins can be obstructed by some of the larger CPU coolers- yet most will work perfectly.

If you have any questions I might be able to answer for you, leave a comment and I will respond ASAP.

Bought these for a computer build I did for my husband. The machine booted up just fine, I installed Windows, some anti-virus software, and Microsoft Office. Everything looked like it was working well. He was anxious to start loading some games. Then came the first Blue Screen of Death. After 4 hours of operation, repeated IRQL errors were cropping up, resulting in Windows continuing to crash.

I downloaded Memtest86+ and attempted to run a few passes. The program got less than half way through the first test and there were 699 errors already. Sooo, that answered the question on what was causing the BSOD's. I had one or more bad RAM sticks.

On the positive side, Amazon replaced the sticks quickly and Memtest86+ ran a complete pass on them with 0 errors before I even bothered installing the OS. The computer is now humming along nicely. (I installed in this motherboard - Gigabyte Intel Z77 LGA 1155 AMD CrossFireX/NVIDIA SLI W/ HDMI,DVI,DispayPort Dual UEFI BIOS ATX Motherboard GA-Z77X-UD3H with this CPU - Intel Core i7-2600K Quad-Core Processor 3.4 Ghz 8 MB Cache LGA 1155 - BX80623I72600K).

Husband is loving it so far. Fast and can handle most anything he'll put on it. I was not happy to have received defective sticks, but at least they've been replaced and are now functional. We will see if this remains the case. I will update if these should fail as well.

UPDATE: The sticks that I used in my husband's machine are still delivering speed and reliability after 7 weeks. I just built another computer for our daughter yesterday and used another 8 GB of Corsair Vengeance RAM. Installed in another Gigabyte mobo (GA Z77X UD5H)with an Intel Core I7-2700k processor. Memtest86+ found no errors and so far, no BSODs. Corsair is regaining my confidence.

Works flawlessly on a ASUS P8P67 B3 Sandy Bridge mobo. Given some memory problems w/ DIMMS that are rated higher than 1.5v, these installed and worked as expected. What more can you ask for? Sandy Bridge mobos are picky when it comes to RAM - these work and are recommended by Corsair.

I put this ram in the blue slots of my p8p67 pro motherboard. Works great!!! I had to adjust the frequency from 1333 to 1600. I also changed the voltage to 1.5. My old pc had 2 gigs corsair ddr2 800. Going from 2 gigs to 8 gigs ddr3 was huge. I couldn't be happier with my purchase, I highly recommend this memory.

I was building a home theater / gaming PC and this memory was recommended to me. It's rated to be faster than what I'd originally looked at, and at a better price. I'm running an Windows 7 Home x64 system, i7 processor, Radeon 6770 card, and at this point these have served me well and I may, eventually, get another set. 8GB is plenty for me to watch movies, play Skyrim with mods, compile my code projects, and run a Minecraft server, all on my 1080p TV. Anyone who really needs more probably knows more than me about the technicals, but for a regular gamer this is fine and probably overkill for a plain home theater. Fast reads, lots of space.

It works but it wants to run at 1333mhz instead of 1600mhz like it claims in the product description. With the motherboard I purchased to go with it you can get it to run at its highest frequency but you must go into BIOS and manually set the multiplier to 8.0 and adjust the timings to the values from the SPD table. I used CPU-Z to view the SPD table and it shows this ram to have a XMP-1600 mode, which is an Intel thing but you can use it with an AMD FX processor just be sure to set the timings because just setting the multiplier to 8.0 with out changing the timings causes BIOS to detect a memory error and halts recommends going into BIOS to change it. For me I really only had to change the tRC value, the rest of the SPD values are the same latency as the JEDEC #4 (666mhz) timings. As far as performance goes, it is an upgrade, but in day to day application like web browsing or watching videos on the PC, it's the same as my DDR2. Even the Windows assessment score is the same. I think I'm going to try lowering the frequency of the ram just to tighten up the timings and see what that does. Gaming did improve in a noticeable way, but I've only had it up and running for a 24 hours now and have not run every installed program to test with it yet.
