I purchased this RAM kit for my Threadripper system because it was listed as verified with my Gigabyte Designare X399. These earlier-gen Threadripper systems are pretty picky about memory (especially when populating all DIMMs), so I wanted to make sure I got something that 100% worked, and this kit hit the mark. No stability issues when running the XMP profile, under a memory intensive stress test, or during general usage. 3000mhz is plenty for Threadripper, thanks to the quad-channel memory layout, so I wouldn't feel bummed about not having the absolute fasted DDR4.

This kit comes with fans, but they're too bulky for me to want to use them. They're not really necessary, so it's no big whoop. It is nice that the fans come with different colored covers, so if you do want to use them you're not stuck to the color red. They come with a silver color and a blue as well.

Overall very pleased with the kit; It works exactly as expected.
