My measurements are 34-24-34; ideally I should wear around 22-24 (depending on the make and materials, since I'm not a dedicated wearer of corsets). I'm comfortable in 24, nice and tight, but not uncomfortable or too restrictive.
I bought a 26, its the smallest size they have in this seller, but I was going on BC before a surgery and figured "Weight gain, 26 will be fine).
Wrong.
I wasn't even on the BC when this arrived (on time and packaged very well). It's too small, (nor had I had the surgery yet).
Too small as in I thought they sent me a 20 on accident too small. Too small as in the modesty flap in the back wouldn't provide modesty and I had a two inch gap of flesh showing when I was laced up to a level that I normally fell comfortable at.
Now, maybe some one will say this corset is for hard line cinchers...and I'm gonna gall bull. This is a very well made product, to be sure, and it would work for hard core cinchers for maintenance...but this isn't a corset your gonna use for training. This is the pretty thing you use to show of taking your 30 inch waste down to a 24 inch...or rather 20 inch waist.
Also, for those ladies curious about sizing for Corset, here's a tip. Corsets are sized on your waist size; so if you have a 32 inch waste, go for a 32 sized corset. I have a 24 inch waist, thus I would want a 24 sized corset. (This is if your aiming for comfort over cinching, which is what I do. This is not a technical hard line rule about corsets, only a tip from what I have found to help me find comfortable corsets that are neither too big, too small, or require too much cinching).
A 26 should have been fine on me, loose even to accomidate swelling and medical healing I'm going through.
Now, I haven't contacted the seller, nor tried to get a refund.
I bought this last month, but I'm sure the 30 day quarentee is past because frankly in all the health hullabaloo a wrong sized corset just got put on the backburner. I dont regret buying this product, it is BEAUTIFUL!, and well worth the money...
Just buy big, ladies (and some of you guys), there is no reason a 26 should be too small for 24 waist.
