This chair is ok, it is a very basic seat that I think would be good for having at grandma's house or as an alternate for travel or occasional use. I would not use this on a very young baby because the seat kind of lays back and does not seem very comfortable, there is only a lap belt and the tray table is not very easy to get on and off. This would be a good seat to set at a regular table without the tray for a child who can sit up unassisted.
It came mostly assembled and I just had to screw in the bottom plastic feet and attach the foot rest. I like that it does not take up much space even when open.
