Cosequin is great for dogs that are getting older. I have one dog with hip dysplasia and she doesn't limp around when I give her this stuff. Another one of my dogs started to limp around but again taking this stuff helps. You can get it from your vet but it doesn't come in cute dog bone shapes! Plus they are chewable! Very convenient!

This is a relatively inexpensive product that is extremely good for young and old dogs hips and joints. I know of a rather famous wildlife manager that special ordered a similar product for his dog. This version is as good, but considerably less expensive. The product is liver flavored, so I say the all important word to our eleven month old pup in the morning, "snack" the tail wag increases rapidly and he goes to his bowl and gets the snack and his firest feeding. I highly recommend this product.

My Chihuahua has bad knees and had a hard time getting around. I started giving her these pills about three years ago and what a difference! She still limps a little but can now run around when we take our other dog to an open field to run. She gets half a pill a day and since she won't eat it like a treat, I crush it up and add it to her food every morning.

My 11 year old bichon started limping out of the sudden and I took her to the vet but he said that there was nothing wrong and it was probably just arthritis (she was also slightly overweight). Petco recommended Cosequin but I ordered it from Amazon because of the reviews and of course it was a lot cheaper. In two days I could see the difference; a week later she was walking normal again. It's been almost two years and she's doing good to the point that we can go hiking once in a while.

We have a Newfoundland and have been giving his Cosequin since he was a puppy for preventative measures. When he was a puppy, he was growing so fast so we waned to start taking care of his joints. Now, as a 130+ lbs two year old Newf, we want to make sure he stays in good shape and he is all taken care of. We we will continue to purchase Cosequin because we believe it will help protect our dog and keep his joints in good shape.

One of my little dogs has problems with one of her back legs when she first gets up. The Vet suggested these to me and I have been using them for many years. She gets one half bonelet every day. I would not be without it. This is a must for me and highly recommended.

We have never had so much ease in administering medication to our dog! Shadow sees it as a treat to get this every day--so he must realize that it is helping to ease the pain in his joints. We highly recommend this product.

Alas, Amazon eventually ran out of this supply and I cannot find it nearly as reasonably priced anywhere so my poor 9 year old dog has had to do without it for months now. I cannot run with him, so I drive the golf cart while he runs alongside and I can tell that now he can't run as far or as fast for as long as he could when he had Cosequin regularly, so I believe that it works well. His breeder, who is also a Vet, puts all her dogs on Cosequin when they turn 8 years old.
