Here are reviews for my top favorites:
Starlight by Kerry Adrienne: I absolutely loved Andrew, but how can one not love such a sweet nerd? I also liked how realistic his academic career was, constantly reminding me of my own job.
Star-Studded Love by Rosalie Redd: Caleb was such a stud! I loved his disability and that Magic Mike lifestyle. I giggled throughout each of those male dances as I imagined them.
Stars Shining Bright Above by Jayne Fury: I really liked how Zane was a medical examiner. I haven't yet read a book where the male lead has that profession. It reminded me of a sexy CSI show.
Midnight at Andromeda’s by Tessa McFionn: Wow! I thought this storyline was incredible. Arranged marriage turned soulmate connection. This one was sort of fantasy meets science fiction, which are my two favorite genres. So good!!!
Razer’s Edge by Selene Grace Silver: OMG, Razer was so hot. I absolutely loved the romance between him and Ayanna. They are such unique characters, and the ending was so sweet. I look forward to reading other books in that series.
Vordol’s Vow by Dena Garson: This was another sweet romance. I loved Vordol's attitude and all of the characters were quite complex for being such a short story.
Comets and Caviar by Jenna Lincoln: Again, we have another freaking hot male lead. Malachi was such a dreamboat. I loved the storyline between him and Keya. I also look forward to continuing that series after the interesting discovery about her sister!
Educated by the Master by Cailin Briste:
We first meet Trey in “Shane: Marshal of Tallav”, and if you haven’t read that one yet, you must; you don’t have to read Shane’s story first, but if you love this as much as I did, you will enjoy seeing more of Master Trey’s endearing personality in that book. After reading the first two books in the series, I knew Rand would be the next in series, but I didn’t know Trey’s would be the fourth book, and now I can’t freaking wait!
In “Educated by the Master”, we get a little taste of what is coming in the fourth book, and be prepared to get hooked! If you are a fan of smoking hot dominant men, you will love Trey’s approach to Patsy. It is a slow-building relationship with him needing to understand her true nature before he acts, allowing the sexual tension to build and build. Patsy’s accent and personality are adorable, and the way she speaks to Trey puts a smile on my face. I really can’t wait to see what comes of her new BDSM cabaret—especially if Rand is going to be there.
Once you finish, "Cosmic Cabaret" and are in desperate need for more, go ahead and read “Shane: Marshal of Tallav” as well as “Maon: Marshal of Tallav” if you haven’t already. This way you will be just as excited as I am for Rand’s book and then Trey’s to release. I am keeping my fingers crossed that Cailin Briste doesn’t decide to stop after the fourth book! In the meantime, I also highly suggest reading Cailin’s other novella, “It Takes a Cat Burglar.” You won’t regret it!
I received a copy and volunteered to review it.
A new author is Dena Garson who wrote Vordol's Vow. He's a bodyguard who has vowed to never get entangled in any relationship so he can devote himself to his clients. He's kept his word until he meets
Pitannah Lorento, a Quantum waitress who dreams of winning this year’s intergalactic burlesque competition in order to pay for her mother’s expensive medical treatment. When the two are thrust into the middle of robbery and murder, they must fight to find out the truth before anyone else, especially them. I must share a line from this story because, OMG, it sums up paranormal romance, "He stole her breath, and yet he gave her air." I'd cartainly want to meet someone who did this for me, and they abound in this book.
This book will give you hours of reading pleasure, and I totally recommend it to all.
Star-Studded Love by Rosalie Redd is a fun and sexy story. It is a great story about two people whose insecurities keep them from embracing life fully. Their meeting sets them on a path that brings love and happiness.
I have read many other stories by the author and recommend you check out her other books too. She does a great job of developing her characters and really making you fall in love with them as you read the stories. They feel real and have a genuineness to them even if other aspects of the story are fantasy driven.
The other authors also offered interesting reads. It can be difficult to establish characters and really develop a storyline in the short story format that connects with the reader.
I very much enjoyed Midnight at Andromeda’s by Tessa McFionn. I liked watching the characters connect and realize they had quite an opportunity instead of something to dread.
I am voluntarily reviewing a copy I received.
I've only read Rosalie Redd's Star Studded Love so far and was not disappointed!! AWESOME STORY!! 5 BIG STARS!! I simply adore her characters! They are amazing! Her writing takes you right into the storyline and keeps you there. I would highly recommend anything by Ms. Redd especially her Lemuria series!! I've just gotten to Kerry Adrienne's Starlight and am completely enjoying the story. If all the others are as good as what I've read so far, this set will be completely worth every penny. I did receive an ARC and haven't been able to get to this in it's entirety. (I hate when life gets in the way of my reading!!!) I will update soon!!!!!! Again, this is my opinion given extremely freely and happily!!!
