Believe In Adventure
Adventure helps us see the world and inspires us to make it better. That’s why we started Cotopaxi. We believe we can make a positive impact on people’s lives through the products and experiences we create.
Each Del Día product is made with high-quality, repurposed materials by sewers in the Philippines who have complete creative control over its final look. They do it by taking leftover fabric that would otherwise get discarded, repurpose it, and give it new life in the form of colorful, one-off products. From fabric to thread, each Del Día is one of a kind.
Gear For Good
We obsess over the quality of our products. Everything we make meets rigorous design standards, providing users with gear that’s elegant, timeless, and deceptively simple.
The tagline Gear For Good encompasses a promise that we’ll make gear that lasts and strive to make the world a better place .
Giving is at the core of our business model. Each year, we designate 2% of revenue to help alleviate poverty around the world. Through sustainable product design and targeted grantmaking, we’re committed to creating a positive social impact.
Certified B Corporation
Cotopaxi has joined the B Corp community, a group of companies focused on using business as a force for social, environmental, and economic good. The B Corp model provides best-in-class standards and processes that help us ensure we are always fulfilling our mission and elevating our work.
Built For Good
We back our products for 61 years—the average lifespan of a person living in the developing world. If there’s a problem with your product, we’ll gladly exchange it, get you a replacement, or repair the item in-house.

There is an appropriately sized and strong grab handle at the top of the pack. The shoulder straps are not padded, but are quite comfortable and breathe well. There is also a hip strap, but it's not all that useful. There is a place on one of the should straps to thread your water bladder tube through if you like. Cotopaxi is a great company with a good mission. All the employees I've met have been great people who genuinely care about making the company better and "doing good."
This pack is perfect for day hikes and even makes a good weekender bag. Its simple design makes it quite versatile and I find myself reaching for it more often than any of my other bags and packs. Bonus: It comes in a ton of different styles and the "Luzon del Dia" (Luzon of the day) ensures you'll get an interesting design.
Here are my pros:
*The price. Say no more.
*I think the colors are great and I love that Cotopaxi continues to update and offer new colors.
*The minimalist design keeps it simple. The inner sleeve and the outer zipper pocket are just enough to separate your stuff to stay organized
*The Nylon fabric is really high quality and stitching is top notch. I've really been able to put my pack through a lot and haven't seen any wear anywhere
*The straps are very breathable and fit my body very well. I wasn't expecting something so high-tech on a flash pack
Here are my (very minor) cons:
*I said I use this pack for almost anything. Unfortunately I can't run with it because I find that the bag flops back and forth a little too much. I guess this can be expected with a flash pack like this, but if the pack had cinch straps on either side, I feel I could use this bag for anything
*I also think this bag could benefit from a couple of stitched eyelettes at the bottom of the pack - just to drain any sand/dirt/moisture from the pack
