This detailed book is a complete survey of United States Low-Intensity Conflicts (LIC), special warfare and covert activities from the beginning of the Korean War to the beginning of the Carter administration. The book Includes details on Vietnam War special operations including 34A operations, secret raids and harassment inside North Vietnam, and hostility in the United States Army upper echelon to special operations and forces. Overall, I have found this book to be highly readable and although the material is dated it is still historically significant in the study of modern special warfare. I believe that this title will appeal to the professional and armchair military historian and serving military personnel.
