The candles have some outstanding ideas, such as using tins, eggshells or sea shells. The pillows range from the simple, using pillowcases to the more complicated. The wreaths are wonderful, but as, for the other chapters too, there are pictures for most projects, but some, like a garlic wreath could have really benefited from a picture and skipped some pictures on the more ordinary wreaths.
There is a seashell wreath that is wonderful and even older children could help with. Scrapbooking has ideas for even the experienced scrap booker.
Resources for the US are given in the back of the book as well as metric equivalent charts, and an index. There are some outstanding ideas here; although most will require some manual dexterity and ability to use some simple tools. Probably a more experienced crafter or one with a lot of self-confidence and patience will do well with these projects. This is a very appealing book that will benefit those who would like to make some first-rate homemade craft projects.
