Three very different brothers reluctantly reunite for a 1,500 mile car trip in the heartwarming comedy Coupe de Ville. At the request of their domineering father (Alan Arkin), the trio (Patrick Demsey, Arye Gross and Daniel Stern) find themselves driving a classic 1954 powder-blue Cadillac Coupe de Ville from Detroit to Miami for their mother's 50th birthday. The race is on to see if the bickering brothers can get there on time without damaging the car...or each other. Exceptional performances blend with a lively soundtrack in this memorable and lighthearted journey.

I'm giving it 5 stars because I had seen it previously, and loved it! The actors were wonderful...and very convincing as 3 siblings. They start off as 3 uninvolved brothers...and by the movie's end, they have shared many experiences, and truly bonded.
There are hilarious and heartbreaking moments. This is one of those movies where the audience clapped out loud.
If you can get the DVD to play in your machine...it's a bargain, and should not be missed!
I'd seen it on TV in the UK and was so pleased to find it on Amazon.com. It played O.K. on my Samsung Blu ray player no problem but not reliably on my Panasonic DVD player (played OK until I interruped play then `wrong disc format').
It was nice for someone from the UK to hear a proper American regional accent (Billy, son of the Mechanic - `are you a coin collector?')
The boys parents were very entertaining. The end made me cry with a nice surprise which I won't spoil for you.
The DVD quality is the usual standard quality with no main menu.
Totally recommend buying if you're a fan of this movie or looking for a good family themed road trip type of movie
