I looked forward to this romance the moment the Frost King lost his temper with the very forward Dasher, and all but threatened to turn him into decorative ice sculpture for his garden.
The build up to Dasher winning the Heart of his King was a slow one, but I knew once it happened I would fall as hard for the Majestic Spirit of Winter as Dasher. King Eirik may have been as old as the first ❄snowflake❄ but inside he still had the Heart of a very strong, virile, and loving man. It would just take the love, patience, and empathy of someone who could relate to his suffering for him to be willing to give love a chance, once more.
I have LOVED each and every novella in the NPCT's Series, and I look forward to revisiting Winter Wonderland and North Pole City again...and again...and again.
This fantasy series, obviously penned for adults, would not have been loved as much without all the songs, and stories I learned about Santa, elves, Jack Frost, Rudolf and all his Reindeer brothers, when I was but a girl.
Charlie Cochet took beloved childhood dreams of fantastical people in a fantastical place and turned them into a very adult world of enchantment. A WORLD where I can indulge my romantic side...with ☕ cocoa and cookies 🍪 lots and lots of cookies! ✨🍪🌈🍪✨ Thank you, Charlie!

I received an arc of this book and am voluntarily leaving an honest and unbiased review
This is the final book in this series and I was lucky enough to get an ARC copy of this re-release coming December 23!
This story follows our thawing king and Donner, the elf who chiseled away at his frozen heart.
I liked this story but i'm also not a huge fan of age gaps where the person dates someone his sons age. It just isn't my cup of tea. I did enjoy the hurt/comfort aspect of this story. Lots of emotions in this one!
Overall, a solid final story for this series!
This series has been unexpectedly delightful and will be on my holiday re-reads list.
Voluntary ARC review.
I really love how Eirik has changed through the series with Jack’s relationship coming into the open. He started out cold and angry but really loves his son.
Dasher is such a stubborn elf and finally wears Eirik down that it’s sweet to read about. It’s very sad that both men had to experience such loss before finding each other.
I received an ARC and am voluntarily leaving this honest review.
In book 6, the MCs are Dasher and Eirik. We watch them gather the courage to open up to new love and relationships. As they let go of the past, they have a lot of love, support and connections from their friends and family to help them through. The over-arching story-line of Rudy and Jack also reaches a conclusion.
I did not notice any proofreading issues in the ARC.

I thoroughly enjoyed Dasher and Eirik’s story. It was heartbreaking and so full of hope and love. I enjoyed reading about the King of Frost.
Charlie’s writing was just as much fun in this one but there was a poignancy to it as well.
What a fantastic way to end the holiday season!
