And finally, Keith also gives heartfelt tributes to his parents and their impact on his life at every stage.
I had the pleasure to work with Keith for a good many of those Golf Channel years. He brought a true sense of professionalism to Golf broadcasting. I look forward to our paths crossing somewhere down the road. In the world of Sport TV, producers of Keith's calibre are few & far between.
I recommend COVER ME BOYS, I'M GOING IN as a must read to anyone remotely curious about the craft & magic behind the image on one's flatscreen!
If you like television or golf or golf on television, this book is for you. But what I think I like most about the book is Keith's gratitude, appreciation and even joy in regards to the pretty good life he has been blessed to lead.
For eight years, I was one of the Boys who covered Keith as he went in. I can vouch for this volume's veracity and promise no punches were pulled. I even absorbed a couple of well-deserved jabs. I'd elaborate, but a wise man once taught me the value of saying 40% less.
Just read the book. With the exception of a few people near Green Bay and maybe the Packers, I think you'll like it.
