Like the first book this book shows how the main character is going through some hard time. In the beginning it's disclosed how Jackson was recruited to CIRA and why he accepted it. We follow his journey of being an undercover agent within a cartel and a series of revelations throughout the story are disclosed. Even if some of these revelations are brought up at the beginning/middle of the book, it doesn't automatically mean that's the end of it. The author brings in some twists and turns that you didn't expect along the way which keeps the reader indulged and question the outcome at certain points. Much like the first book. So don't expect this book to be predictable because it isn't. It might seem predictable at some point, but there's a reason for everything. And my advice to you all is to notice some of the details and hints that are given.
The book contains some humor, action and mystery. Although the action part doesn't come until we near the end. But I guarantee it's good! And makes up for the wait. So for all who likes to read about spies and undercover agents. This is a good book for you to read!
