This was the first book of Randi's that I have read, and I must say she did not disappoint. She allowed the tension and mystery between the lead characters to build up perfectly to the point where the reader can't get enough without leaving wishing it would just move on. This is a tricky feat that many struggle with, but Randi handled it perfectly. I did not want to put it down and walk away. The writing is fantastic and the characters are even better. I found my feelings toward Graysin especially shifting throughout the book. I am so excited to have another author whose style and writing I appreciate so much. I strongly recommend this book and series to anyone who enjoys paranormal fiction.
This was one of those books I didn't want to put down until I was done, but alas life came first. You can feel the sadness that Graysin is feeling over the loss of her sister. When some secrets are revealed you cannot help but shed a few tears as you feel just as heart broken as our Graysin.
Come and discover more of the town's little secrets and discover if these secrets will bring our two heartbroken love birds together, or will it push them farther apart.
I love this book and can't wait for more of their story in the future.
Until Next Time... Tabi
The only thing I perhaps didn't love about it was the overuse of adjectives in places. Sometimes the extra adjectives helped me to envision the scene or the person better, but sometimes it just made me roll my eyes. Total personal preference and did not take away from the story line or distract my train of thought at all.
