    An anime classic. This review won't be only about the show otherwise it'd be too long and won't tell you anything about the product itself.

    This set comes on five disks with the first 24 episodes across the first three disks with the last two disks being full of special features. The entire series is in full 1080p with English dub, or in the original Japanese with subtitles (English only).
    Each Blu-ray disk has some special features included, usually including an episode with commentary from one of the English voice actors, and an episode (usually different) with commentary from a Japanese VA.

    The only thing that this set doesn't include is the Cowboy Bebop movie which came out a couple years after the series ended.

    The video appears to sourced from a rescan from the original film elements and looks as great as you can imagine. There’s a tasteful layer of film grain left intact and the colors look perfect.

    The audio is from the “Remix” version which differs slightly from the original broadcast with a few sound effects missing or changed, and very slight alterations to some dialog lines. These changes appear to be artistically motivated and not errors or censorship. I’m mostly ambivalent about the changes and may even prefer some. But needs to be mentioned because it may be a dealbreaker for some.

    Not even going to say how great this show is, if you’re reading this you almost certainly know that already

    I liked it. As a senior citizen, I want you to know that I did not buy this just to look at Faye. That's not true. I do like looking at Faye. Despite my advanced years, I've never lost my affection for animation. Although, I normally prefer my stories "straight up" like you will find in Jonny Quest. But this animation is fun to watch. The only slight criticism is the smoking. I do understand, this is complete fiction and they're trying to make the characters look edgy. I like this series so much I went ahead and bought the movie which I found to be a little bit better than the series.

    The Blu-ray discs arrived in excellent condition.
