Sable Hunter's Hell Yeah series is a collection of HOT erotic romances featuring amazing cowboys who become the perfect doting friends/lovers/protectors of the beautiful yet innocent women who come into their lives. The first story 'Cowboy Heat' features the eldest brother, Aron McCoy, and his complete undoing by his immediate attraction to gentle, sweet, generous, innocent Libby. The characters and setting are very well established. I whipped right through this book, smiling, laughing, crying and falling in love all over again. This book is a sweeter version of Cowboy Heat. Ms. Hunter has managed to maintain the integrity of the characters and their story while turning down the heat of their love affair. This sweeter version simmers while the original boiled. I wasn't comfortable referring the erotic series to my mother, but I've put this book (Sweeter Version) on her kindle and it's the next book she's gonna read. (UPDATE: Well, Mom (70) read the book and wasn't comfortable with the heat level of even the sweeter version... that's okay, I don't think 'Women 70+' is necessarily Sable's target demographic; she did enjoy the characters and romance development tho.)

I read this book in its original version and I loved it! Then when this sweeter version came out, I decided to check it out...and I am so glad I did. Cowboy Heat is the book that introduces us to the McCoy clan...and oh what a clan it is:) Gorgeous, hot, romantic cowboys....who wouldn't love them? Aron and Libby....gosh, the love between these two is so heart-felt....swoon worthy....sweet...true....sheesh, you get the picture:) Aron has so many pet names for Libby...their story is just so endearing....Libby is sick....she has known the McCoys for years....followed Aron's football career while he was in high school and college...she takes a "temporary" job at their home while their housekeeper/cook takes a leave....and well....lets just say....there is more than food cooking at the McCoy ranch when Libby and Aron get together:)
Don't hesitate to get this version of Cowboy Heat...it is really .... Well as Aron calls Libby....it is Sugar:)

There's no sweet courtship, or romance. Just lusty romps, wherever they happen to be. And the way the author kept describing the heroine as childlike, throughout the story, "Her little hands", "Her little feet", "Her little self! ". It started to creep me out. This "Sweet Version" was more sex than story, I cannot imagine what the "Real" version is like, nor would I want to. By the way, I loved the premise; A possibly terminal woman getting a job to cook for a family of available, good-looking men. Too bad the virginal heroine began having sex with one of them, "five minutes" after meeting him.

I live in a very conservative area and I am sure people are going to love this sweeter version. I love all the McCoy boys and hope she introduces all of them in the "sweeter" version so everyone can fall in love with them like I did!

The reason I love Sables book's, because I know for a little I'm around friend's.The McCoy are hot, sweet, protective cowboys.Who take family values seriously.Aaron is the oldest. He has sworn off love,After been hurt.Until he meets his match,in sweet beautiful Libby. They have the kind of love we all wish for. When I read about the McCoy,I want to be apart of there family.Sable brings her characters to life. That's why I never pass up a Sable book.I will say,I have not read them all.But that's because I want to savor them. She is my go to author.I've read the first version and the second version, and liked them both.It just depends if you like your book's spicy or spicier.Me I like my book's Spicer but with a plot.I don't like book's that are just about sex.I like a story or plot. And with this series you get it all.You actually love this family.I don't review book's if I don't actually believe in the characters and story. But I've honestly read this series 3 time's because I love the McCoy men and I know you will too.You will fall in love with them and Sable. So pick up this book and get your favorite drink and sit back and relax. You will think you are in heaven.

Sable Hunter has created a wonderful story that is full of love and laughter. This story has it all--a sense of family that makes you wish all families cared about each other like these brothers. Aron needs someone to share his life--and in walks Libby to show him how to open his heart to the love he deserves. What an amazing beginning to a wonderful series. This will be a book you will pick up to reread when you need something to make your heart smile. Don't miss out--this one is a real winner!

I just finished reading Sable Hunter's "Sweeter version" of "COWBOY HEAT!" What a great book! Sable is such a phenomenal writer and really cares about her readers. I have read all of her "Hell Yeah" series and have loved each story that unfolds about the fabulous and handsome McCoy Brothers. Some readers like different degrees of "Hot" in their books and Sable has listened. She is re-writing her series in a sweeter version, so that her books will reach all readers who love contemporary love stories. Cowboy Heat is the first book in this great sweeter series. It tells the story about a beautiful young girl, named Libby, who has been suffering with leukemia. Knowing her life could end at any time, she sets out to experience things she has dreamed of doing before her life is over. In doing so, she takes a temporary job with the handsome McCoy brothers and just knows she will be able to realize all her dreams with this bevy of beautiful men, especially Aron McCoy! This story is tender, loving, funny, sad, happy and everything you could ever imagine in a great love story. You will, as I did, laugh, cry, cheer and just love the ending. If you have been on the fence about reading the Hell Yeah series, I highly recommend you pick up this book and start the journey with the McCoy brothers and the loves of their lives! You will love this series - this I guarantee!!!
