Sienna North may never had suspected that her boss, Big Dan, was a crook, but the truth was he is the King of Scumbags. Skimming money off clients’ accounts and accusing her of cheating when she became pregnant by him. Oh, let’s not forget his generous offer of letting her keep her job if she never mentions the baby again. When she takes money from his safe and runs he sends goons after her. Lucky for Sienna she has contacted Gabriel of Cowboys For Hire. Enter her heroes, Joe, his step brother West and their cousin Collin Young. These are three men who have come to keep her safe from her abusive "husband". What they find is the woman they have been waiting for. The one who will become their mate and complete their family. The four meet at a life and death fight with Big Dan's thugs and the men take Sienna into hiding. Soon their attraction turns to passion. The question is will their growing love survive the lies Sienna has told and the man determined to get his money back and make Sienna pay for crossing him.
From the very start Cowboy Rough is filled with action and suspense. You barely have time to catch your breath before you are thrown into the passion and intrigue that evolves with the story. If you want a sweet little romance then this is not the book for you. Cowboy Rough, book three in the Men For Hire series, has men who are strong, determined and honorable. They have found in the character Sienna a woman that is a fighter, independent and fiercely protective of her friends and family. Individually they are a force to be reckoned with, but together they are formidable.
These cowboys will take your breath away and although the Young’s may already be taken as well as the Richland’s and Grangers, lucky for us there are plenty of protectors still to be found out at the Second Chance Ranch. Word to the wise though, I think Jeff Jenkins and Kane Kannal are about to be taken off the list soon in book 4, Rough and Ready. I would like Gabriel to find someone to heal his heart and ease his pain. I also look forward to learning more about Chase and his brothers. All of Jane Jamison's Men For Hire series titles are standalone books and can be read as such. I say Cowboy Rough is the best one yet. I will let you know about book 4 soon. Whatever one you choose will be enjoyable and leave in you search of a cold shower.
