I truly enjoyed this book. You too will root for Meredith and Jace.
Sabrina is an old fashion match maker. She encounters Meredith in the restroom at a social event. As she speaks with her she realizes that Meredith wants to get away. She gives Meredith her business card with the word HOPE on it.
Sabrina has known Jace for years. They are best friends. Jace has asked Sabrina to help him find a wife as his father is ill and wants to see his son settled before he passes.
Sabrina believes that Meredith is just who Jace needs and Believes that Jace can heal Meredith and help her find who she really is.
Meredith and Jace getting together is a sweet story. They both have their doubts about this arranged marriage however they both find a small attraction to the other.
As Jace and Meredith begin their lives they also begin the dance of getting to know each other. Their story begins to become a love story rather than a story of convenience.
When Meredith's father finds her will she be able to stay with Jace? Will Jace decided that now that he has the ranch he no longer needs her?
This is a love story that unwinds in the most unlikely place - a ranch in the middle of no where between two strangers who both need to learn to trust someone.
The story will make you smile.
The characters are well-developed and You just love them. It's interesting seeing
Meridith growing up and take her place in the new life she found on the ranch after
escaping her dominating father. It was worth the risk to stop her old life and be a
modern "Mail Order Bride" with a little bit of struggling and some twists. I love the
chemistry between Meridith and Jace.
So go ahead, grab this book, grab a cup of coffee and let the story give You a
relaxed reading time.
I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.
Meredith and Jace need something from each other and the best way to do that is get married within minutes of meeting each other. The only reassures are from mutual friend Sabrina that every thing will work out for the best.
The Wyoming ranch, Jace's home, is a beautiful backdrop to this tender relationship. The writing draws you in to the surrounding area and life on the ranch to truly feel it's healing powers. Never having been to this part of the country, I could feel the authenticity as I read about Meredith's eagerness to learn how to live outside the city. It's peacefulness and relaxation through hard work. It gives her purpose. Jace's reaction to Meredith's adjustment to ranch life is surprisingly hopeful. Do they are dare believe their marriage will last beyond the timeframe they have allowed?
This story has the feel of a grand epic romance that you long for the hero and heroine to find their happily ever after. It does not disappoint.
