character. Juliana is a jewel that came in on the last book. Trace was a jerk then and he continues to be in this book. He is so self centered and selfish, how Juliana had feelings for him, I don't know. I thought his sister Sage was an ass, but he beat her. Juliana puts her life aside for him, knowing he doesn't love her and probably never will and when she marries him so he might have a chance winning custody of his daughter, he pays her back by shunning her when he looses. He leaves her to follow his daughter to her new location, not caring about anyones feelings, but his own. Julianne figures out a way to bring his daughter back to the area and goes to get Trace. He does not welcome her but goes along with the plan and it works out. Then since he's happy now he decides he loves her. Bolony!!!!! Like a dummy she accepts him with open arms and knows her marriage will be rocky. OMG!!!!! This makes me so mad! See what a good writer this is to get you to feel these emotions. Can't wait for the next book in this series.
Julianna is like most women my age or older, believes that it will work out. Putting in more than you get out of a relationship. In real life, it will break you down and age you.
I did have problems with one thing that lets me know our talented author needs to do a bit more homework about livestock.....honey, horses can't throw up, or burp,,,,it's why the colic and many die from it. Do a bit more homework if you want to write about ranch life, cause some of your readers live it every day and it turns us off a wee bit when we read stuff like this.
