We bought two 3 foot bean bags. I cannot say enough good things. I love the durable, removable, washable cover. I love the durable fill that poufs up nice and full, but supports so comfortably. I love that it is big enough for an adult. Well worth every penny. We use them EVERY day!!!!
The comment about the chemical smell from the fill worried me, but after the bags were unpackaged for a few days, the smell went away. I think it wasn't any worse than new carpet smell, certainly not as strong as new carpet.
Imagine a cylinder 30" tall and 36" in diameter. It squishes down to about 48" wide.
The outside bag is both soft and sturdy, with a separate internal zippered bag for the fill.
The color representation of the photo is accurate. Received it two days after ordering.
If you are buying this as a gift and want to present a fully fluffed out chair, you need to take it out of the box a few days prior because it takes that long to fluff up. They do lay flat, or at least I haven't managed the strength to wrestle with it to re-position the stuff inside, so you're not really sitting in them as the girl in the picture suggests. I want to sell them and get smaller, more manageable chairs, since returning them is not an option after they are removed from the box.
If you wanted a huge, fluffy disk to lay in and you have loads of room, these are great chairs. If you want the traditional smallish bean bag chairs that are easy to shape and flop into, keep looking. I wish I had. :(
As for comfort level, it is super comfy. I am a 5'4" adult and I find this chair to be plenty big. It is not like a normal beanbag chair with beans that immediately conforms to your shape. You gradually sink in.
Depending on what face of the chair you sit on, you will get a different sitting experience. As the instructions attempt to explain, if you want to sit on it like a chair, have the two circular faces (the bag is a giant cylinder) perpendicular to the floor. Sit on the cylindrical area that connects the two circles so that the circles are to your left and right. This will give you the best back support.
If you place the chair with one of the circular faces facing the ground, it is more like a large dog bed and is good for napping on.
Other configurations and sitting positions will allow you varying degrees of back support or height off the floor. Sit further back on the chair if you prefer to sit on top of it like a stool where it doesn't sink in much and you are perched on top. Sit further forward towards the edge to sit closer to the floor and have more material to recline back on.
Overall, you have to play with it a little to see what sitting position is good for you. It is great quality and I feel that it will last a long time.
I'm not a big fan of the material they chose to put on it (Microfiber). It holds every piece of lint that flys by it, but the cover comes off easy and can be washed and put back on the foam sack. All in all, it's a great chair and I plan on getting another one.

It does take a while to separate all the filling. Still very comfortable and big!Published 26 days ago by CLinebarger
Buyer beware, not as advertised. Favorable reviews are suspect. The "bean" bag fill is highly compressed and requires hand separation. Read morePublished 1 month ago by BitterPill
