The stuff was effective at removing ice quickly. I wish I had more positive things to say, but that's about it...
Each can is only good for two, maybe three uses. It doesn't matter how thick of ice, the cans just unload too fast. You can literally empty an entire can in 20 seconds.
Speaking of thickness... I tried using it one morning when my windshield had a reasonably thick layer of ice, around 1/8". Not so thick that I couldn't scrape it, but enough that I figured the spray would save me some time. It worked... until it didn't. As soon as the stuff evaporated, the runny streaks of water hardened back up. I ended up using the rest of that can to finish the job and had to scrape away a bunch of slush as it began to re-hardened.
As if that wasn't bad enough, one full can that I had left in the car started leaking. Half of it evaporated overnight, leaving only a puddle of mystery fluid in my cup-holder.
Chemically, it works, but not well enough to justify the price or hastle.
