An Average Book for the Average SAT Test Taker...High Achievers Should Look Elsewhere.

I'm a Harvard grad, SAT/ACT Perfect Scorer, and professional SAT tutor with 17 years of full-time experience (including a stint with the Princeton Review).

The Princeton Review's "Cracking the SAT Premium Edition 2018" is a decent book for the average student. It includes 7 synthetic practice tests and lots of general SAT strategy and learning advice, but there are much more detailed and thorough publications out there for those seeking a high (1400+) score on the exam.

I recommend the College Panda (Nielson Phu), Critical Reader (Erica Meltzer), Ivy Global, PWN the SAT (Mike McClenathan) and SAT Prep Black Book series of books as superior SAT prep alternatives. Also don't forget to utilize Khan Academy, a free online SAT prep service that has partnered with the College Board, and to buy the Official SAT Study Guide, 2018 Edition The Official SAT Study Guide, 2018 Edition (Official Study Guide for the New Sat), which is the only source of real SAT questions in print (keep in mind that the 7 tests in this book, like all third-party tests, are not real SAT exams).
