In Cranium Pop 5, it's not what you know-it's how you show it! Will you get your team to guess Charlie's Angels by humming the theme, doing an impersonation, sculpting with clay, drawing, or using the letter cubes? The choice is yours! You rank the activities from easiest to hardest, then spin the board and pop the glowing timer. Your opponents decide it they should go for it and hum for 5 points, sculpt with clay for 3 or play it safe and act it out for 1.
Cranium Pop 5 includes the Pop 5 game console with glowing timer, 6 Cranium cubes, Cranium pad & pencil, 5 activity tokens, 41 scoring tokens, 2 token collectors, a tub of cool Cranium Clay, and instructions. Requires 3 "AA" batteries (not included). For 4 or more adult players.

We played this with friends after a dinner party for 3 hours... By the time we were done, our bodies hurt from hysterical laughing (and a few antics). If you love pop culture or if you love Cranium, this is a fantastic game.
For the parents with young kids out there, I wouldnt reccomend it for them; many of the things on the cards will not be good for younger children (not because they are inapporpriate, but because the things on the cards just contain info they wouldn't know about -- for example 80's rock bands.-- But for you and your friends... Oh yeah I would! :)
My only problem with this game is that they dont give you enough cards. I could really use a booster pack. (You hear that Cranium!?!?!?!)
I noticed a lot of 80s questions, but I think there's probably just as many from the 90s and after if I were to count the ones I've seen so far, and there are a few cards from the 70s also. Even better is that it's so easy to learn that you can read the instructions in under two minutes. The opposing team picks your card, ranks the 5 possible games the performer can use to get his team to guess the cards, and the game he picks determines the number of points earned (first team to 21, which is easier in theory than in practice, wins). This game will probably take you about two hours per play, which I think is a great amount of time for a board game. Plus, it's great for ages 18-40!
My only issues were that they really don't provide you with enough paper for Cloodle, and they don't include batteries for the timer. The timer is nice, but it's almost the same as using an hourglass, and if they're going to make it electronic why no sound? Oh, and as with any pop culture game, any younger than 18 and the player is pushing his luck with knowledge of several of these cards from before the 90s.
If you like Cranium, I think you'll really get a kick out of this game. You'll probably laugh when you see each card at the memories of that item, or at what the other team's performer will have to do to guess it correctly.

Its an ok game. Not as much culturally diverse as it should be but ok.Published 8 months ago by Eric L. Speight
Didn't enjoy the rating system for answers. Players were often confused. We just used cards for our own rendition of Trivia. Much more enjoyable.Published 10 months ago by Lora Ann Neill
Such a fun game! My friends have had hours of fun playing this. I was so sad to see that it was discontinued as a cranium game. Read morePublished 11 months ago by irwincrj
The game is mostly complete. I did not read that I was buying a used game. The paper pad had drawing on it and was missing the playdoh. Still got great use out of it.Published 16 months ago by Boston
