Their relationship was so much fun and they clicked in so many ways that I think even Sarge wasn't expecting. They obviously have their trials, but the outcome, as always with Tessa's books, was GOLD!
Many side characters made the town of Hook come to life: Sarge's sister and Jasmine's bff, River (her book will be 3rd), and her daughter Marcy, Sarge's band mate Lita, and manager James (their book is next!), and even Carmine (ew!) and the factory crew made the world so realistic and relatable.
Can't wait to read the rest of this series!
They are a perfect match!
This is a fabulous read & I am totally looking forward to the next in the series!
Seriously, I think Sarg is my new favourite Bailey dirty talker. If he has set the bar for this new series, holy moly we are in for a super-hot treat.
Be prepared to read this book one handed and for your partner to enjoy the benefits of you devouring Crashed Out. And yes I can guarantee you will devour it and probably need new panties afterward.
When I went to write this review, I surprised myself at how many highlights I had, but then when I realised that I could use none of them for my review because I wouldn’t be able to get them past the censors, I started to laugh because it shows how much of a dirty talker Sarg is.
I’m not going to neglect Jasmine, she is awesome. Another strong female character and one who is not afraid of her sexuality. She is another reason I love this authors writing. When you read her you will understand.
I’m not going to waffle on much more, it’s a Tessa Bailey book that should be enough for you to buy it. If you need a reason let it be Sarg. I can’t express how much I loved this character. This should be your must read book of the holiday season.
Sarge is a jealous, possesive & protective alpha, which is some of the things I really like about his character. The fact that she was his dream girl for 4 years and he chased her until she caved appeased the romantic in me as did the moment when he realized that she was his soulmate. I loved, absolutely loved that they were faithful to each other. I am so tired of reading about manhoe heroes who smex OW after being with the heroine. It always saddens me and makes a story less enjoyable. This author has never let me down in that all of the books of hers that I have read, none of her men cheat, which I am grateful for. It was a HFN ending, which I liked.
If you love sexy, steamy romances between an older woman and a younger man that not only entertains but captivates, Crashed Out is a must read. I absolutely adored it and bought it in both ebook and paperback because of it. Highly recommend this read!
