This is an interesting booklet regarding a critter that my father spoke of traipsing off to the Los Angeles River to catch during the Great Depression to augment produce from his family garden.
A discussion of the writer's favorite cooking method follows an interesting discussion of the species, it's habitat, and recommended methods to catch or trap what some refer to as the, "Poor man's lobster."
Length: Print, 32 pages.
Target Audience/Genre: Nonfiction for Outdoors Sportsmen and cooks.

Q - My biggest pleasure or disappointment?
A - Nice photographs, apparently taken by the author, are a nice feature.
I am confused in regards to what the author considers to be a 'head' of garlic.
I’ve included a small excerpt below, so readers can peruse the style of presentation utilized by the author.
Due to the brevity of the content, I'm not including any excerpts.
Well worth my time. Four stars out of five.
