Math-tivities makes math crazy fun! But watch out! Your students will be begging you to do math and begging their parents to do math on the weekend! They will even beg to do math before anything else you might be learning! The book gives a multisensory approach to math and give teachers fun practice and learning options while also aligning with Common Core! So put away some boring book that practices math with no thought and use the Crawfords creative approach to math that will never have your students crying that they are bored. Math should be fun and that has been accomplished in this great book! My students love it! --Kimberley Arbouw, Teacher, Kindergarten, Grade 1, and Grade 3, Roanoke, Virginias
I adore the Math-tivities book! It is my new go to book. I love that I can use it on the computer or print a copy of an activity for my students. The activities in it are great for warm ups, review, R.T.I., and sub plans. I also keep a copy in case I get called for last minute meetings. My students love how the lessons incorporate art and math. --Michelle Divkey, Teacher, Kindergarten, California
Brian and Yvonne Crawford have a dynamic way of approaching math. Their activities are versatile enough to challenge fast learners, while the readability of their word problems doesn't inhibit the students that lack a strong reading and vocabulary background. The lessons are rigorous, but still entertaining, which is a big plus in this era of digital gimmicks. Their activities meet CCSS standards while allowing me to differentiate to fit the needs and learning styles of the students in my classroom --Jennifer Ayers, Teacher, Grade 2, Chattanooga, Tennessee
