With no ties, It just hangs open on the sides and can easily rotate around. It does fit fine over my 4-year and 2-year old's big heads, and covers their shirts just fine, but I will need to add side ties to keep it from flapping around.
Two side ties, and one behind the neck. At the moment he is messing about with paints and crayons while sat in his high chair, so he isn't making any use of the pocket.
But because of the big gaps down the sides, my son still found it easy to get his messy fingers all over his clothes. But the smock washes well, though, and air-dries really quickly.
I think this would be better for slightly older children, which is good as my son will grow into it.

material is very thin and it feels flimsy.
A little smaller then I thought but get the job done. My granddaughter is a solid and tall 3 year old and it will work for her this summer and winter. Read morePublished 25 days ago by Michelle Moultrie
