My son is 4.5 and asked Santa for “LOTS OF NEW CRAYONS.” Boy, did he deliver! And this cute little container comes with a sharpener, just like the boxes in the old days. Except, I swear this one is way easier for small hands AND it makes the original crayon tip shape. Can’t recall if the old ones did that??

The colors are all beautiful. We especially love the glittery ones (literally looks like diamonds in bright light). The glitter does lift a little and rub off on fingers & clothing. There’s so many colors I’ve never seen and we have fun reading the quirky names.

The only issue: it’s so hard for him to put his crayons away. He always forgets where he got a specific color from. Lots of crayons shoved in places that are too tight! That happens with all crayon boxes, though. At least he can lug it around by the handle and take it wherever he feels creative.

TIP: he came up with a cool way to hold his place when he takes a crayon out: he takes a crayola paintbrush & sticks it in! It’s long and easy to spot. Very cute idea.

I really wanted to give this crayon box set 5 stars, but one of the crayons (purple pizzazz) was broken, the tip was snapped off upon delivery. :( It’s only one crayon, but I planned on giving this Crayola set as a birthday gift to my almost 5 year old, and it’s kind of a bummer when one is already broken before first use. Pros is the caddy is made of hard plastic so hopefully it’s durable, and it has a crayon sharpener. The plastic top that comes with it is made from really thin flimsy plastic, probably more for packaging than actual use as a top cover. I haven’t checked for doubles, but the color selection looks really nice.

A mi hija le encantaron!!!! Tiene diferentes colores y diseños ya que trae neón, con brillos, etc.; además de que son muy prácticas porque las puede llevar a donde sea en el estuche.
