When we bought this paint I have to admit that I expected a lot. Crayola has a reputation for children's art supplies that I remember from even when I was young. For my children it's always been my first choice. Even with that in mind, I wasn't disappointed, not even a little.

The only down side, and I'll admit it was a very small downside at that, was the difficulty of getting the paint out of the containers. My instinct was to shake it like a ketchup bottle, but I was afraid of getting paint everywhere. It's decently thick paint, so I shouldn't be surprised it was challenging. Eventually I just swept it out of the paint jar with a paintbrush (which took a little more effort than I probably wanted to spend) into the paint cups we got. I would advise using something other than paintbrushes, but it was the best way I could think of at the time.

Once the paint was out for use, we loved it. The colors were thick and smooth. My child loved how easy they were to use and how vibrant the colors were. They dried quickly and were easy to clean off of every surface they accidentally got on. We love the way they cover the paper. They're some of the best children's paints we've used. I will definitely be purchasing these paints again.

The only down side? I wish they sold this same set in bigger containers too. That would make it ideal for my larger family since it would last longer, but even these little jars of paint last pretty long.

This is the second time I have purchased these paints. The first time I bought the six pack but I like the extra four colors (turquoise, white, brown and magenta) that come in this ten pack. The bottles are small (2 oz. each) but I find that the paints last a long time! Each time my boys paint I take a plate and squirt out about a 1/2 - 1 tbsp. of paint of each color and they go to town.

My boys are 2 and 4 and I don't worry with these paints. I let them paint on card stock (printer paper is okay too but I prefer thicker paper) on the kitchen table and if they spill it washes up easily (even if I don't wash it until later that day). Also I had a chance to test out the washable part with fabric this week! My four year old got it all over his long sleeves (of course they were white) and on his swim shirt (rash guard) and all of the paint came out. I was surprised that the red and purple came out of the white long sleeves just because I didn't notice it until a little bit later that day. Just remember to follow the directions: wash in HOT water with NO stain way or pre-spotter. I ran them both under the hot water and scrubbed them a little and all but a little bit came out. Then I threw them in the wash on HOT and wa-lah, clean clothes.

I love these paints and they are well worth the price. :) If you want bigger bottles try the Crayola 4ct Washable Fingerpaints Primary or Crayola 4ct Washable Fingerpaints Secondary . They look great too!

My kids are 7 and 3, they love mess and coloring. These are my go to paint, you can just use them as finger paint or with brushes, they glide on paper and they wipe off with just water, even clothes don't get stained after soaking them in paint!

Nous commandons ce produit pour la deuxième fois, il est d'une excellente qualité les enfants produisent grâce à cette peinture de très beaux dessins. Il suffit d'une petite quantité lors de son utilisation.Mes enfants font de la peinture pratiquement tous les jours en rentrant de l'école et malgré cela les pots durent extrêmement longtemps. Les couleurs sont vives, la peinture est facilement lavable ! Le prix de cet article n'est pas excessif lorsque on parle de QUALITÉ. Les couleurs sont sympa, j'ai initié mon fils à la peinture il y a peu et avec les petits, les gaffes arrivent vite et vive les dégâts. Là c'est très facile à nettoyer et ça ne teinte pas les petits ongles de mon gremlin.

Picture is misleading - it clearly shows a black paint, but it's actually brown (description is accurate, but I went by the photos as I sure a lot of people would do!)

I've previously bought the 6 pack twice, but the colours are limiting for young children, so went with the 10. Just a shame there's no black!

Good for colouring rice for sensory play.

But the red is NOT washable... As my dining chair cushions and numerous tshirts will testify!

Small pots of paint. Roughly the size of small petit fillous yogurt tubs. My little darling managed to open a tub and it went everywhere, up the wall, over the carpet, bedspread and duvet and on some woodwork too. It just wiped off and came out in the wash in low temp, I couldn't believe it. Oh, and it just wipes of us as easily too. Very handy. A good selection of bright colours. I wouldn't think of using any other makes.

I wanted some paint that would be ideal for hand and footprints for a baby. I was recommended these and they’re a great buy. There’s a good selection of colours and being washable, they’re perfect for kids. A single baby wipe is all that’s needed to wipe the paint off a baby’s foot or hand. If you do happen to get it on floors, tables, or anything else, it can be easily wiped off. On top of that, the paint is a nice thickness and looks good on all kinds of paper and card. You do pay more for Crayola but it’s worth the money.
