I was looking for some rather inexpensive motors to put on my first FPV drone. These had the specs i was looking for at a pretty low price. Almost too low of a price TBH, but in pulled the trigger and ordered them. I didn’t want to spend tons on something that was at high risk of being damaged in the inevitable 6 trillion crashes I was bound to experience.
A few minor complaints, that really are quite minor but worth mentioning. The wires provided are rather short, making it hard to reach all-in-one ESC’s on a 5” class drone, which this size motor is kinda a good fit for. Extension wires soldered on took care of that with relatively minor work so take that with some thoughts on what setup you plan to run. Individual ESCs won’t have this issue. The second minor complaint is 2 of them had the mount holes machines slightly off from where they should have been (we’re talking 1/4mm off) so I had to slightly file the holes in my frame arm to securely fit them.
Aside from those minor complaints, I am super happy with these. Plenty of power to throw my ~450g 5” racer/freestyle drone around. No noticeable vibration from any of them, they seem pretty evenly matched as it’ll hover pretty steady in calm conditions. I really like the short sorta-spiked prop nuts as they help protect the props when landing upside down on concrete.
They have withstood many many crashes without so much as a hint of issue anywhere. They eat grass blades without care, taking stuffed pieces from crashes and just spitting them out. Maybe my flight tune is just that perfect but, after 4-5 mins of varied flight conditions they have always been cool to the touch.
Great value for the money with this set. Really can’t go wrong.

I wasn't expecting much (in the picture, the crazypony motors are on the left) but these motors work well with a 3S battery. The wires were shorter than I needed them to be (I got the USmile XSU220 $20 frame from amazon, on the left, assembled in the wide-x configuration) so I had some extra soldering to do but for motors this cheap, they work well. I'm happy that they work. However, when building a budget quad, don't buy the cheap no-name-brand camera, just get a cheap name brand camera, there's a world of difference there. The cheap ARRIS FPV goggles work well too. So there's my 2 cents on a budget build, hope it helps.

one motor that went through a blender??

so I got my package today. I remove the tape, open it up and there ONE motor (not 4), and 5 random screw on caps of different colors. Not only that, the wiring was all ripped up, the copper coil was unraveling and coming out of the motor, and there was a plastic bag stuffed full of opened, empty plastic bags (I guess in case I wanted to bag them before throwing them out??) Just... look at the photos... unbelievable.
