**FYI - If you by chance, end up finding the putty smashed into your carpet like me, no need to cry or curse (I may have...). Make sure you have Goo Gone in stock. It works wonders. Just google how to get putty out of carpet using goo gone and it works wonders.

Amazing summer activity for all ages

Highly recommend. It's a great kit with a durable mixing mat with tips, 5 'blank' tins filled with clear putty, and an altoid sized tin with 6 packets of 'mix-ins' (concentrated red, blue, yellow, glow, sparkle, and shimmer putty) to create your own unique colors. Also has extra blank stickers and colored pencils for decorating and naming tins.
My kids made a green glow putty, a "lava" orange, a purple "galaxy" putty, a shimmery blue they called "bullet train" and an aqua blue ish.
There was plenty of each mix in so each tin ended up filled to the top.
Once they finished mixing they decorated their tins, and they've been playing with the putty all evening.
My only tip would be to only add the glow to one or 2 and only lighter colors. Our green glows great but we added a little bit to the lava and didn't get any glow from it.
Probably the best craft kit I've ever purchased, will purchase again, highly recommend.

We LOVE crazy Aaron’s but this kit had some issues. I don’t know if it was the way it was stored but the clear putty had melted out of two of the tins. It was on the sides of the tins and we couldn’t get the lids off. After several attempts from several people around we ran it under hot water to open it. We ordered this as a gift and thankfully we were around when the friend opened the kit and we saw the problem. That way we can get her another kit to replace this one. Aaron’s was the only thing she asked for her birthday. It was just disappointing but possibly something that got overlooked. Aaron’s has terrific products and is an amazing, compassionate company. Will continue to purchase.

I’m excellent at procrastinating so even though I meant to get out one of the kits and figure it out beforehand, I never did. However, it was very easy to use, labeled well, and was just perfect. I wish it was slightly cheaper (bought for around twenty per kit) and that it came with a little more glow in the dark additive, but I’d absolutely buy this again. Loved that it came with individual tins! And that it wasn’t messy at ALL. A+

It is just a little stiffer than the putty and works in great without staining everything it touches! So no mess on the table, no mess on the kids! WIN WIN!! my 12 year old daughter loves putty. this was fun for her to mix her own colors. you get give small (mini) tins with some concentrated putties for mixing - colors, sparkle, glow in the dark, shimmer. we mixed our left over concentrated ones together with the last tin and made a bigger clump. I am impressed with the putty quality that comes from Aaron's brand - it doesn't make your fingers sticky or get too runny after kneeding it for long periods.

I was disappointed with the amount of putty provided. I had gotten it as a gift for my 9 year old niece and she really thought it was cool to able to make her own putty colors. However, it came with about two tablespoons of each color. The colors that she made turned out great! She used the color guide provided and was very happy with the results. The putty has a nice feel and doesn't dry out. It also stretches and bounces nicely. The glow in the dark putty works well too. The little tins they provide are cute and my niece enjoyed coloring them to match her putty.

My son loves his big tin of thinking putty and the whole family have come to enjoy bouncing it or ripping it. I'd recommend it to anyone looking for a stress reliever as it can be quite therapeutic. That said my son couldn't wait to mix his own after watching crazy Aarons youtube channel. If you are wondering what this set looks like out of the box or what you can do with it, then you should definitely check out some videos. My son (who is 9 yrs old) spent all afternoon mixing the various colours and effects to create his very own custom thinking putty. The measuring system is very easy to follow, and he had no trouble - he already wants to order another pack to create more colours. My only criticism is that £15 seems a little expensive for what you get, but he had so much fun that we probably will end up buying more.

I've actually bought 4 of these now 2 for my own kids and 2 as gifts. Kids love them! The love making up their own mixes of colours and effects which are great especially the glow in the dark one. You do have to be careful with them though as they can ruin carpets and bedsheets if left unattended (one of our bed sheets glows in the dark now even after washing)! If you make sure they put the putty back in the tins then no harm done the kids love it!
