Picture is room temperature (perriwinkle/twilight) silly putty, compared to warm silly putty ( light blue).
I'm a teacher and try to keep putty of all shapes and sizes on hands for my kiddos to keep their hands busy in class. Other than when this stuff gets stuck in carpets, it truly is magic for helping fidgety kids stay in their seat and focused. It's also silent, which those silly fidget cubes are not. These particular tins are great because they stack flat in my desk, unlike the egg shape of regular silly putty. Where I run into an issue is the cost. Really, when regular silly putty is only $.99, is it truly necessary to charge $10, and sometimes MORE for these little tins that hold the same amount of putty in them as the egg?
