Anyways this book just wasn't for me. Obviously I'm in the minority so give it a chance.
They get a chance to sing it in a club, get a contract to record it and go on tour. Ember is offered a singles contract if she will dump Stone and through a misunderstanding he leaves her on tour. It takes both her brothers to get these two to communicate and work out the problem when Stone only heard part of what Ember had to say.
Stone and Ember faced lots of opposition from her brothers, the record company manipulations and not communicating and talking to each other about what they really wanted and getting together on mutual goals and priorities. Sounds like lots of normal people with everyday problems in a developing relationship and was an enjoyable story.
Heck, at this point I don't really know how the characters come out. Are we all suppose to go out and buy the next book to find out? Does the next book even involve this couple? Do they go back into the music business together, again? Do they ever make it on the big stage like they did before, or were they black-balled after walking away?
When I found Ceazy Dreams on Amazon I didn't hesitate in ordering. Dawn is a wonderful story teller and I can't wait until her next book comes out ( hoping she writes more and more.)
