I am on the edge of my seat wanting the second addition!!! Don't we all wish that we could answer an ad and find our dream man??
Only being part 1, I am not too concerned that we didn't learn more about Jason and Briana. The stage was well set and I want MORE NOW!!!!!!!!
I am not giving anything away other than Jason is smoking and that I love Briana's spunk. I read this book in a single afternoon
This story takes off quickly, and for the most part is pretty fast paced. If you're wanting a quick, easy read with lots of steamy sex scenes, this one won't disappoint. Due to its length perhaps though, there isn't much time for the main characters to develop a strong relationship. Though the strength of their connection is implied throughout, I didn't feel it on an emotional level. They connect through sex and work related talk, but I felt like a lot of emotion was missing.
If you love the rich, smart, good-looking, alpha male types, Jason, the main male lead won't disappoint. If you enjoy strong female leads (as I do!), this one pulls her own weight throughout the storyline. She is smart, tech-savvy, knows her way around computer programming, and flies her own drone. There is an impressive amount of "technology speak" throughout the story which some may like. I found this interesting at times, but mostly, I found these parts of the story to drag. After so much, it no longer added to the story, but weighed it down.
I felt the dialogue was mostly shallow and unexciting.
So overall, it was mostly a quick, fun read. Perhaps lacking some depth, but that may not be an issue for everyone. Sometimes you just want something uncomplicated, and this book is that. I'm looking forward to seeing if the next installment provides more exploration of emotions and depth of characters.
