Top customer reviews
* Leather looks good, inner grey lining looks really nice
* Padded enough to protect iPad
* Thicker than I would have expected -- mostly because of the little stubs for holding it in the viewing angles
* iPad 2 is a bit loose inside. Not as bad as some other cases I've seen.
* Light colored inner lining looks like it might show dirt over time. Not sure how to clean it.
All things considered, this is a tough value to pass up. I would probably buy again.
As I watched my wife struggle with several gaudy but only semifuntional cases, I began to marvel at the "intelligence" of my dart-board decisionmaking.
Then the day came when the gizmo in my case was just slipping too often from it's propped position - though it still mostly worked. By then, I'd noticed that the price of my CrazyOn had dropped precipitously. I order one...then accidently ordered another. That was stupid (I thought); I'll return one.
But the more I consider it (the two are different colors) I'm not so sure I will. As if reading my mind, CrazyOnDigital has now installed a "sticky" fabric tab beneath the device cover and the base. This adds a nice gripping feature that should deal well with my only complaint. Is it a "forever" solution? Maybe not, but I'm happy -- and the price could always be reduced, again.
I have been mostly pleased and would have gave it five stars except for the fact that after some use it seemed the material started to breakdown on the cover leaving fuzzy stuff on the screen. It was like lint or something.
It did come with a sheet protector but had some trouble getting it on and eventually just threw it away.
It would have been nice to. Have some better instructions.
I no longer use this product because I now have an otter box.
It was a good product for what I needed it for at the time.
I agree with the other reviewers who stated that it is a very nice snug and safe fit for the "New iPad". I wanted a cover that would protect the iPad and this one is certainly sturdy enough for that. The design is also very practical. The multi-angle "stand" feature works well for most conditions. I purchased the black leather with light grey interior. I am a bit concerned about the insides getting dirty, but that is a minor concern.
The auto on and off feature is a bit finicky and doesn't work 100% of the time. I am attributing this to operator error at the moment. Unfortunately, the cover did not come with any instructions so I do not know what to expect.
I have purchased a wide range of items from Amazon and I continue to be pleased with the results.
Also, the iPad doesnt always go off when the cover is closed, unless you use the wrap around strap thing, and that gets inconvenient when you are using it often, but not so often you dont want it to go off when closed, or you can turn it upside down so the weight of the iPad itself makes it close properly and goes off, but again, inconvenient.
Id say skip it, and go to the store and get one. Sorry to be negative, I had high hopes for this product
