Andrea started just as the Seventies opened and those were really some of the most interesting times to be working there- the time of the so-called "Yippie Invasion" and many other interesting occurrences.)
Now as she points out, the Tour Guides were the Elite and were picked to be "girl next door" beautiful. Stunning and charming, too! Of course, it being the 70's "hair" was the thing, and not just the musical.
Andrea takes on a wonderful trip thru "Yesterland" and the memories of our youth, bringing back fond memories of such wonders as the Mule train ride, the Golden Horseshoe Review (and I agree with her 100% here- sure, the Mules will never coma back as a ride, but why not bring back the whole Golden Horseshoe Review with a new cast? ) and many others.
I do disagree about the 20,000 leagues Under the Sea walkthrough, as I loved it. But she covers all those and more- the Monstato House of the Future, the Flying Saucers, and more. Take a walk down memory lane!
Some nice (and one not so nice) tales about VIP tours for real VIPs are included also.
A "must read" for any Disneyland History aficionado. Charming, and a real page turner.
