behold this is another "Christian" author who prefers to use everyday "world" language in this book. Needless to say,
I did not finish the book and will not be reading any more books by Sandi Scott!
Colleen had an argument with an unknown man at the function over emails, rumors of an affair with her boss, and rumors her boss is ill. Along with a community trying to keep their area free from land developers. Are any of these reason to want Colleen dead?
This is my first Sandi Scott story which I greatly enjoyed, and will be getting the next in the series. There is no violence, profanity or sexual innuendo in this story.
I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced reader copy of this book.

A great start to the series, lots of fun, red herrings and twists to keep me guessing. I enjoyed this very much and look forward to Sandi’s next book.
We have Ashley Adams, rather raw and broken hearted after a horrible break up from a real scum bag. The last thing she needs is for people to believe that food from her brand new venture, in her home town, was responsible for the death of a local woman.
Watching her investigate, with the help of her friends, was fascinating.
I look forward to reading more.
