About the Author
Erin now resides in Florida, away from the snow and cold, near the Gulf Coast with her family. She enjoys the sun, sand, writing, and spoiling her cocker spaniel, Hanna. When she’s not writing, she’s obsessively collecting Star Wars memorabilia, planning the next trip to Disney World, or whipping up something delicious to eat in the kitchen. --This text refers to the paperback edition.

What I didn't like, Beth. She was only 16 but came across too old in how she spoke with Susan and Jackie, and every adult. She wasn't just a mouthy teenager, that I would have welcomed.

I’d read the blurb a while back and thought what an interesting and unique story. I was interested to see where this story would go. I’ve read this author’s other books and loved them and so was very happy to read this.
The story of Beth. An adopted 16 year old who goes out and finds Jackie, her biological Mom, a lesbian. And Susan, her adoptive Mom who’s married to a man in an abusive relationship. Jackie gives Beth and Susan a safe haven.
As a big believer in fate I could totally understand the ‘that this was meant to be ‘ scenarios by the characters.
The intimate scenes were done really well and gently with lots of patience and understanding. I really liked how these were written. The characters were well developed and endearing.
This is an endearing story and I felt the struggle of crossing the line between Jackie and Susan and their emotional turmoil but I could also understand the unique bond that the two women had and the protectiveness that Jackie felt towards Susan and her biological daughter.
This is another well written and endearing read by this author. I really enjoyed this well written and believable story.
