By far this is one of the most interesting titles this reviewer has ever discovered. Oli Hille should stand up and take a bow, he has written a book that can literally change the way you live your life." Suzie Housley, Reviewer - Midwest Book Review (USA)

From the Author
I am regular guy who used to work long and brutal hours for a big corporation. One day I woke up and I had a revelation:
"Life is not about working your butt off for someone else - life is aboutfollowing your passions and creating a fantastic life for yourself andthose around you. Life is actually about LIFESTYLE."
I spent the next few years researching success and achievement, and applied thestrategies to my own life. I have successfully set goals, made plans and achieved a fantastic lifestyle. So I decided to write a book revealingthe strategies and formula that anyone can use to transform their life.
I got this book a few months ago after seeing one of the Life coaches I follow interviewing Oli Hille. I had never heard of this author before. During an interview, Oli spoke about his passions and creating his perfect lifestyle, without working like a slave for someone else. he really got my attention. Back then, I was in the process of creating my perfect lifestyle and I needed some additional motivation and guidance. I purchased Oli’s book and just absorbed it. Soon after, the author started following me on twitter(yes!) and so I followed him back and told him how much I loved his masterpiece book. He encouraged me to post an honest review on amazon: ‘ it’s only a few seconds to post one or two sentence review’. No way Oli- your book can’t be reviewed in only one or two sentences! I had to find the perfect moment to sit down and let the world know how I felt about this book and what it can do for you and your life. Trust me- I have read it twice! First time, as I said before, I just absorbed it, I was so much into it that just couldn’t stop reading it. Second time, I took notes and did all the recommended exercises just like the author suggested. One more thingI would like to add before getting straight to the review, is that I have seen that Oli Hille was criticized by many readers because of his Christian beliefs. Let me tell you something( I am not a Christian nor a church goer, but I do respect whatever people want to believe in, as I BELIEVE IN BELIEVING): this book is not about preaching, nor is the author trying to convert you into Christian. He simply mentions his spiritual life as it forms part of creating his lifestyle. Everyone is allowed to choose their own religion or anything that can help them make stronger. I like taking long walks, meditating or volunteering- that’s my temple and my own god. What it will be for you- it’s up to you. The author makes it clear. There is a bonus chapter that you can just skip if you’re not into bible etc, I read it and I don’t regret it. It made me realize that I should keep searching for my own spiritual fulfillment. The bible is not only for Christians, there are lots of valuable words for everyone...The author strikes me as an extremely tolerant and open-minded person. I can’t stand the thought that someone as honest as him got criticized- he is not a ‘Christian fanatic’ so don’t be hold back and get this book to find out yourself! I wouldn't lie on my review! About the book- I spent the last couple of years researching all about financial freedom, life coaching, self-help, creating the life of my dreams, always learning from the best- like Tony Robbins and his followers. I have read lots of articles, blogs and books related to self-help and passive income topics and gradually started applying and it CHANGED MY LIFE( I live out of my passion now and yes- I quit 9-5 some time ago..). What makes this book different is that the author is a super versatile person! You have it all in one! It’s always a real pleasure to read a book by someone who is so educated, experienced and open-minded as well as charismatic as Oli. A voracious reader and writer, a musician, an entrepreneur, an accountant, an employee and an employer, an on-line marketer, a life-coach, BA in psychology, a traveler, a parent, a husband, a believer…the list goes on and on…you can learn so much from him!!! As a wellness coach, I got really interested in the chapters dedicated to health. I found them very, very motivating even though I am healthy, eat healthy and exercise and help other people do so- I got lots of INSPIRATION reading Oli’s ‘healthy lifestyle’ words. I am totally up for a month’s challenge now just to feel even better! At the same time Oli can also help you with your finances…something I will be working on hard in 2014- as a part of creating my perfect lifestyle. Let me tell you Oli- I found your book in the right moment. Thank you so much for your hard work and dedication. You are so INSPIRING!!!
Dear reader, I revised my original review because I made an error addressing an issue I disliked in another book by this author. If you read the comments under this review, you will see that originally I was annoyed by what I said was too much self promotion in the book by listing various links to the author's other books. After the author, Oli Hille, made a comment, I realized that I had confused the content in the two books, (I had read one right after the other). I apologize to everyone for misleading you.
Which brings me to say that I do think this book is worthy of five stars. In fact, if you read the above paragraph, I have indeed purchased other books from this author. In all his books, he is very humble for the self made millionaire that he is, and his charm shines through the stories he relates.
I'm listing a few of his brief chapters so you can see if it's something you would benefit by. There are 65 brief chapters and I'm not listing all of them, just a mix that you can assess to gauge your interest. They are: My Lifestyle, goals, To Do Lists, Gifts and Abilities, Income Choices, ( I found that interesting), Passive Income, Only Buy What You Can Afford (I wish we all would just do this and live within our means!). World Travel, Read Widely, Focus, Failure, etc.
He packs a lot into this book, and although I have read most of these topics in other books, he streamlines the subjects to give you what counts, without belaboring the points he makes. Most readers will think about what he says for some time after, but the full value of this book would be to reread a few chapters every day or so, and get the ideas entrenched firmly in your mind.
It is very well rounded, he has a chapter for things like sleep, finding your soul mate, so he covers those subjects as well as coaching you to make a decision, even if you fail. Most successful people have failed many times before. He states when no decision is made,it is a decision, you just chose to not do anything. I've heard this before, but it fits in well with the info he presents.
His ideas of creating multiple streams of income, whether passively or actively, are terrific. He does subscribe to the theory of the law of attraction, but he doesn't belabor the point, which could be wise for readers who don't subscribe to that point of view, it's really not a new agey type of read.
How often can we get advice that is sound, true and valuable from wealthy, successful people? Most people don't want to share their successful strategies, or their advice, because frankly, most of us will say, "gee, great idea",but sit on their couch and do nothing about it. The one thing that is phenomenal about this book is that I felt like the author really wants us to live full lives, and he's sincere about trying to impart strategies that have truly worked for him.
If you are serious about creating a better life for yourself, this book is so much better than Tim Ferriss' 4 day Workweek. All in all, I would recommend this as required high school and college reading. If you want the perfect lifestyle for you, keep referring back to it, and you may change your life in an amazing way! Good luck with your endeavors!
While I think this is a great book for anyone looking to improve their quality of life, I think it is a great book for depressed individuals. Personally, I have struggled with bipolar depression for the majority of my adult life. At times, I will admit that I was in such a bad place that it was difficult to concentrate on anything. But, when I could bring myself to read something, I found that "Creating the Perfect Lifestyle" was a key part of my recovery. The book is written in such a way that you don't have to read it from beginning to end in one sitting. Instead, you can pick it up, pick a chapter or two that interests you, and read it at your own pace. Not only has Oli's book helped me to crawl out my deep depression, it helped me to decide to start my own technology consulting company. This has given me a great deal of flexibility with regard to setting my own schedule and having a true work / life balance. If you only read one book this year, I highly recommend reading "Creating the Perfect Lifestyle".
I really LOVE this Book....Your Book is More Than 5 Stars on Financial Freedom, Plus much more, I started reading it over again so I can start applying the steps you have given. I really didn't know what it was gonna be about and MY response in reading your book is WOW this is "more better" than a whole college course on how to handle your finances.... ( "more better" - I know your not supposed to use these words together) It's a workbook within a wealth of guiding information in goal setting to create more time in your day, more money in your pocket, more contentment in life, and so much more. I haven't seen anything like this.
