There is one significant irritation, though. The speaker turns itself off when it's unused for awhile. Unfortunately, it also does this while charging, and it doesn't charge while turned off. This means that to get it fully charged, you have to turn the speaker back on a few times as it keeps turning itself off. The charge lasts a good while so this is an irritation rather than a deal breaker, and I would buy another one in a heartbeat if I needed another speaker.
That's all the negative - if you're looking for a speaker that is decent quality that you'll have to replace after about a year, then by all means buy this one, but I think you might do better for your money with an oontz or something similar. The sound quality on this speaker was decent, for the first couple months the battery life was pretty good, the only real negative was it didn't really go very loud. I used mine primarily in the shower and in my bedroom, it was kind of shit for anything other than a small space - I tried taking it to the park and the beach when hanging out with my friends and the volume just never seemed to be quite loud enough. It's good for small spaces, but I think at this point it's just not worth the money for how little time it lasts. I'll probably purchase an oontz angle as my next speaker.
My comparison or feedback is based on my experience with my Dell XPS L502X, which, if you know this laptop, you know it's got amazing internal speakers (20W 2.1 JBL speakers). They're loud, crisp, and just good audio.
The Creative Muvi Mini does about just as well. When I first connected it to my Galaxy S5 and played something, I wasn't pleased, but I quickly learned that it's mainly because I was playing a song through ES File Explorer, which isn't a music app nor is it optimized for music, so it didn't sound too nice (but the volume was decent). Then with playing music through Google Music and with some adjustment through the Equalizer app (Latin preset, and I turned up pretty much all settings proportionally), the audio sounds very good for being such a small speaker, with a little bit of loss on the volume. But with how loud it still is and the nice audio quality, that's not a concern for me at all. All in all, well pleased.
Also, as you probably have noticed already, this thing is IP66 certified, which is a great plus to have. You can break it by dropping it, but no worries with water. I've played music even in the shower, and it's fun. As for the battery, I haven't played with it for 10 hour long, but considering how much I've played with it with full volume and that it's still running, I've no doubt with the advertised 10 hr limit. Even if it does only 7 or 8, I'd still be very happy with this thing.
Pros: Durable, loud, water-resistant and portable.
Treble & Mids: Clear and balanced! Not too harsh like a lot of small speakers.
Bass: Falls off at about 100Hz (checked with Ableton Live). I feel like I'm hearing all of the important parts of each track, unlike with many other small speakers. Low end is loud enough to feel balanced when playing it in small rooms. Place it in a corner for a bit more bass resonance!

This arrived in a small package and was immediately ready to go. It was easy to connect by Bluetooth or by NFC. It's literally holding down a button on the device and searching for it on the device you want to connect.
The sound is great indoors and outside. It charges quickly and it's easy to find out battery info. The only difficulty I had was disconnecting my wife's phone and getting my music to play. You have to turn the device off and back on. It wasn't a big issue and is easy now, but took me a while to figure out.
One major disappointment though is that the built in volume buttons only work with a bluetooth source but NOT with anything plugged into the AUX socket. So if you're using the AUX input, you have to adjust the volume on the unit which is playing the audio and not on the MUVO mini. I'm not sure of this is a fault with my unit or if it's a design oversight.
For the price though this is a quality piece of kit.
