The spigot inside material might disintegrated through time- Buyer be aware!

We have the dispenser for a few years, and it worked as it stated. When we noticed that there were silver material pieces in our cup, we removed the spigot, and found out that the inside of the dispensing spigot (which is a silver, chrome like materials) were breaking off. We use the dispenser for storing drinking water, can't imagine other beverages with acidity will have it's impact on . We are not sure how long it has been disintegrated, and how long we have been taken down this materials with our water. From looking at the inside of the spigot, most of the silver coating have been gone. Buyer should check on your!

I loved everything about this dispenser, which makes what happened more sad: the first time we used it was for my daughter's wedding reception. It held water with floating lemon and lime slices. After the reception it was so late at night that we just gathered everything up and hauled it home. As I went to wash the dispenser the next morning I was upset to find that the acid from the citrus had evidently eaten away at the plastic, marring it. If only I had known--I certainly wouldn't have left the citrus in it. Now the dispenser looks "dirty" so it basically became a one use item. I don't remember seeing any warnings saying it would pit or stain with use, so I thought I should post something as a warning to others.

I received this tonight. Pulled it out of the box and noticed a very big crack down the center. We needed this for tomorrow so I ran water in it to see if the crack was just superficial. The crack began leaking immediately. We needed this for a ceremony tomorrow and now I can’t use it. I cannot buy it in store, I’ve been all over town and no one sells these. So now I’m SOL for tomorrow. One good thing is the return policy, they are replacing it. However that does me no good when it will be here next week and by then I will not need it. Unbreakable-haha. I would not recommend this because they do not check the quality before shipping.

I LOVE this product. I use it for all my get together's. But today, I noticed that the 'faucet' part has metal flake (whatever you want to call it) on the INSIDE of the faucet. It had come off in my drink & then as I was washing it, it was coming off all over my hands. I could stick my finger inside the end that goes inside the container and it would come off on my finger. This just seems as if it could be harmful to someone if enough was ingested (not to mention people don't really want to see metal flakes floating in your punch). I just wanted to try to figure out how to let the manufacturers know that this might be a problem! :/

I'm pretty disappointed, I thought something was strange when the instructions didn't match the dispenser - but assumed it was just generic and seemed simple enough to assemble (no locks to hold the dispenser in place on the stand - per the instructions, faucet piece different, etc.). But then I noticed there are a ton of noticeable scratches all over it, I tried to wipe it down with no success. This was delivered maybe 2 minutes ago before opening and assembling. For the price, I thought it would be a little better quality - would not buy this product again.

I got 2 of these to use for a Memorial Day cookout, and they worked great. No refilling during the party, easy to use for all guests, and no leaking. I filled one with filtered water, lots of ice, and cut-up slices of limes, lemons, and oranges. Everyone appreciated having a non-alcoholic beverage to switch to close to departure time. The other one held iced-tea, and it looked a lot like the picture with the lemon slices. I was very careful attaching the spigots after reading the other buyers' warnings, and I tested both of the dispensers overnight to make sure they wouldn't leak. I don't know if I was lucky or just a good direction follower, but I had no problems. I will say that 3 gallons is a LOT of beverage, but if you are having a party of decent size, it's going to save you watching the dispenser to refill it.

Great the first 3 times

If I would have reviewed this product after the first use I would have given it 4 stars. The missing star is due to the fact that the spout is 2" above the bottom of the container so you have a quart or so of liquid that can only be accessed by tilting the container.

However, now I am giving this 2 stars. Christmas Eve we attempted to use the dispenser for the fourth time and the spout assembly was no longer working. There is nothing visibly 'broken' but something like a rubber flange now appears to be stretched and keeps flipping out of place. It did look like we could 'fix' it by setting everything back in place, but it would not stay. If you are purchasing this for long term use, i.e., other than 1-time use, you will likely run into this problem.

I am now giving this 2 stars instead of 1 star as if you call CreativeWares customer service line there is a message that says if you need a new spout send them an email and they will send it to you. Nice that we can get a new spout... but it also speaks to the likelihood that this is an ongoing issue.

I bought this for half the normal price because they said it had a blemish on the front! I cannot even find the blemish. Great deal. I wanted something I could put on the counter that the kids could use. This is simple and has lasted through my four kids under 8 using it for over a week so far which is saying something! The cheap ones at the grocery stores never held up to my kids. The only thing I don’t like is the lid does not seal on tight so it is hard to carry without knocking the lid off when very full.
